Are you tired of feeling stuck in relationships, struggling with self-doubt, or trying to overcome addiction? Do you find yourself worrying about the future or feeling like you're just going through the motions? Many people struggle with these issues, and it's okay to ask for help. I help clients navigate the complexities of self-worth, emotional health, and financial well-being, with a focus on empowerment, authenticity, and creating a life that aligns with what matters to you. Whether you’re feeling weighed down by past experiences or struggling to make sense of who you are, I’m here to guide you toward a path that reflects your values and passions.
In our first session, we’ll begin by building the foundation of a trusting and safe space for you to share what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll explore your current struggles, your background, and the patterns you’ve been trying to overcome. I’ll listen closely, ask questions, and help you start identifying the key areas you want to work on. My goal is to ensure you feel seen, heard, and supported, and to help you understand how we can work together to create meaningful change.
I’m a human being fist and a therapist second. One of my greatest strengths is my ability to create a compassionate, non-judgmental space where clients can explore difficult topics and uncover new possibilities for growth. I’m deeply attuned to the emotional and financial challenges many young people face, and I bring both empathy and practical solutions to our work. My certification in financial social work adds an extra layer of expertise in helping clients navigate financial stress, build healthier financial habits, and work toward greater independence and peace. Additionally, I have personally faced many of the same challenges I help others navigate, and my ongoing journey of personal growth allows me to show up authentically in our virtual therapy space, offering both understanding and real-world insight.
“there is you and you. this is a relationship. this is the most important relationship.” ― Nayyirah Waheed, Salt If you relate with this quote, yet struggle to figure out how to prioritize the most important relationship we have, the one we have with ourselves, then we might be a good fit! Many experiences lead us to cope with life in ways that leave us exhausted, stuck, and/or lonely. It does not have to be this way. You can build confidence and learn to trust yourself again, or maybe for the first time. Whatever life experiences brought you here, you are welcome to show up just as you are and begin the work of unpacking all of the metaphorical hand-me-downs that don't seem to fit anymore.
My background is in Social Work, which is deeply rooted in strengths perspective and meeting the individual where they are.
I love utilizing elements of ACT to assist people in accepting their thoughts and feelings and utilizing mindfulness to "unhook" from the unwanted thoughts and feelings so they can live a life more in line with their values.
I love teaching DBT skills, which can help people regulate their emotions and cope with distressing feelings.
