I’m a human being fist and a therapist second. I specialize in helping young people experiencing perfectionism, people-pleasing, and the pressure to shrink themselves to fit others' expectations. I help clients navigate the complexities of self-worth, emotional health, and financial well-being, with a focus on empowerment, authenticity, and creating a life that aligns with what matters to you. Whether you’re feeling weighed down by past experiences or struggling to make sense of who you are, I’m here to guide you toward a path that reflects your values and passions. I’m also deeply passionate about helping clients navigate the often-overlooked intersection of financial stress and emotional well-being. As a certified financial social worker, I offer unique support for those feeling overwhelmed by financial pressures. Whether it’s overcoming debt, achieving financial independence, or simply finding peace with money, we’ll work through those stressors together so you can create a life of balance and self-determination.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we’ll begin by building the foundation of a trusting and safe space for you to share what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll explore your current struggles, your background, and the patterns you’ve been trying to overcome. I’ll listen closely, ask questions, and help you start identifying the key areas you want to work on. My goal is to ensure you feel seen, heard, and supported, and to help you understand how we can work together to create meaningful change.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to create a compassionate, non-judgmental space where clients can explore difficult topics and uncover new possibilities for growth. I’m deeply attuned to the emotional and financial challenges many young women face, and I bring both empathy and practical solutions to our work. My certification in financial social work adds an extra layer of expertise in helping clients navigate financial stress, build healthier financial habits, and work toward greater independence and peace. Additionally, I have personally faced many of the same challenges I help others navigate, and my ongoing journey of personal growth allows me to show up authentically in our virtual therapy space, offering both understanding and real-world insight.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I primarily work with young people who feel stuck living a life that’s guided by external expectations—perhaps from a religious or conservative upbringing or from past relational dynamics that didn’t foster healthy boundaries. I also enjoy assisting individuals facing various levels of financial difficulties and supporting the development of financial literacy and financial self care.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

My background is in Social Work, which is deeply rooted in strengths perspective and meeting the individual where they are.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I love utilizing elements of ACT to assist people in accepting their thoughts and feelings and utilizing mindfulness to "unhook" from the unwanted thoughts and feelings.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I love teaching DBT skills, which can help people regulate their emotions and cope with distressing feelings.
