(she/her)
Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) practicing in Florida, but originally from Houston, Texas. I am a military spouse who has been working with active duty military and their families for the past 3 years. I work with everything from depression and anxiety to self-esteem and women's issues. I feel that I am able to deliver compassionate and non-judgmental quality care to my clients, something that I take pride in.
In our first session together, I want to know what you want from therapy, and specifically from me. We work to start building a trusting, therapeutic relationship from the initial session, and identify reasonable goals that we can begin implementing right away. I want my clients to walk away feeling like they've just sat down with a friend who will be honest and direct, yet kind and validating, and with a sense of clarity and hope for the future.
I have always been able to quickly connect with just about anyone. I listen, I lovingly challenge, and I support and encourage my clients to become the best version of themselves possible.
I love working with the military population, their families, and veterans. I also have a passion for women struggling with infertility, post-partum depression and anxiety, and the stress of being a new mother.
