About me

I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who provides psychiatric and psychotherapy services in Georgia. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Armstrong State University in 2014 as a licensed Registered Nurse (RN). In 2022, I obtained my Master of Science in Nursing degree for Family Psychiatric Mental Health from University of South Alabama. My pursuit for mental health begun during my experience as a RN while caring for patients with mental health concerns along with physical conditions. In that period, I gained an appreciation of mental health and its influence on physical health.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

My experience with Strength-based treatment is an empowering approach that focuses on strengths/resources rather than deficits or problems patients are faced with. Clients are approached with empowerment, collaboration, positivity, resilience, and goal oriented. I use strength-based interviewing by implementing a strength focused assessment, solution-focused techniques, strength-mapping, narrative work, and personalized interventions.
