New to Grow
I’m a client-centered therapist who believes therapy should feel as unique as you are. I don’t take a one size fits all approach. Instead, I take time to really get to know you, your story, and what matters most so we can shape our work in a way that truly fits your life. I strive to create a space that feels genuine, supportive, and comfortable, where you can be yourself without judgment. At the same time, I help you build practical tools and insights you can actually use outside of sessions to create meaningful, lasting change.
In your first session, you can expect a relaxed, supportive conversation where we focus on getting to know you. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’re hoping to get out of the process. There’s no pressure to share everything at once, we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I’ll also ask some questions to better understand your background, current challenges, and strengths so I can tailor my approach to your needs. You’ll have space to ask questions too, whether it’s about therapy, my style, or what working together might look like. By the end of the session, we’ll begin to identify some initial goals and talk about how we can move forward in a way that feels supportive, practical, and aligned with what you’re looking for.
What stands out in my therapeutic approach is how personalized and practical it is. I do not rely on a single method or rigid framework. Instead, I adapt to the individual, drawing from different techniques depending on what will be most helpful in the moment. This allows the work to feel relevant and grounded rather than generic. I place a strong emphasis on turning insight into action. Understanding why something is happening is important, but it is only part of the process. I focus equally on helping translate that understanding into clear, realistic next steps that can be applied in everyday life. Another defining feature is my focus on identifying patterns over time. By connecting past experiences with present thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, I help bring a deeper level of clarity that often leads to meaningful and lasting change. Overall, the results tend to show up as people feeling genuinely understood, gaining language for experiences they previously could not fully express, and leaving with both a clearer perspective and a sense of direction.
I’m best positioned to work with individuals who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in patterns that no longer serve them. Many of my clients come in experiencing anxiety, overthinking, self-doubt, or burnout, and are looking for practical tools to regain a sense of control and clarity in their lives. I work especially well with people who are motivated for change, even if they’re not sure where to start. You don’t have to have everything figured out; just being open to exploring your thoughts and trying new approaches is enough. My style tends to resonate with clients who appreciate a balance of insight and action, those who want not only to understand themselves better, but also to learn concrete strategies they can apply in their daily lives. I also support individuals navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, and high-pressure environments, where stress and perfectionism can take a toll. Whether your goal is to reduce anxiety, build confidence, improve coping skills, or develop healthier thinking patterns, we’ll work together in a way that feels collaborative, practical, and tailored to you.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients navigate a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. In my practice, CBT serves as a structured, goal-oriented approach that empowers clients to better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I use CBT in a collaborative and practical way. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns, explore how they influence emotional responses, and develop healthier, more balanced ways of thinking. I also incorporate actionable strategies—such as coping tools, behavioral exercises, and real-life skill-building—so clients can apply what they learn in session to their everyday lives.
