Empowering

I am a dedicated LMHC and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Certified Grief-Informed Specialist with over three years of experience helping clients navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change.

With specialized training as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Certified Grief-Informed Specialist, I approach each client with deep sensitivity to their unique experiences.

My approach integrates evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality/Choice Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, inner child work, grief work, and trauma-focused care. I strive to foster a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered. Grounded in a collaborative and strengths-based philosophy, I tailor each session to the unique needs of each individual—focusing on self-awareness, resilience, and actionable strategies for growth. My goal is to help clients uncover their inner strengths, develop practical solutions, and achieve their personal goals.

First session

In your first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask some intake questions and review any assessments you’ve completed so we can get a full picture of your needs, strengths, and goals. This is also your chance to share anything important about your history, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve. Together, we’ll use this information to start building a treatment plan that feels personalized, collaborative, and tailored to support your growth and well-being.

Strengths

As a therapist, I bring a warm, nonjudgmental presence that helps clients feel safe, respected, and understood. With specialized training as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Certified Grief-Informed Specialist, I approach each client with deep sensitivity to their unique experiences. I combine strong assessment and treatment-planning skills with a flexible, client-centered approach, drawing from CBT, solution-focused strategies, and grief counseling to meet individual needs. My focus is on collaboration, resilience-building, and providing practical tools clients can use to create meaningful, lasting change.

Ideal clients

I work best with adults who are navigating life’s transitions, whether that’s a career change, relationship shift, relocation, or a deeper journey of self-discovery. I’m especially passionate about supporting those coping with grief and loss, healing from trauma, or working through the unique challenges of recovery from addiction. Many of my clients come to me seeking relief from anxiety or depression, wanting to build healthier coping skills, set boundaries, and feel more grounded in their daily lives. In our work together, I offer a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your experiences, understand yourself more deeply, and develop practical tools for creating lasting change and resilience.
