New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works primarily with women navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship stress, and life transitions. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable, and high-functioning, yet feel stretched thin, emotionally reactive, or stuck in patterns of overthinking and self-doubt. Therapy offers a space to slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin responding in ways that feel steadier and more aligned. My style is warm, collaborative, and supportive. I integrate attachment-informed and cognitive-behavioral approaches to help clients strengthen emotional regulation, build self-trust, and feel more grounded and confident in their relationships and daily lives. I provide telehealth therapy throughout New York and work with adults seeking meaningful, lasting change.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We will talk about what has been feeling most difficult, what you would like to feel different, and any patterns or stressors currently impacting your life. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported from the start. There is no pressure to have everything figured out. We move at a pace that feels right for you, and together we begin identifying areas for growth, building awareness, and laying the foundation for meaningful progress.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strengths are creating a space where clients feel deeply understood while also helping them develop practical tools for change. I am skilled at helping clients recognize emotional patterns, regulate reactivity, and build greater clarity and self-trust. I balance insight-oriented work with actionable strategies so clients leave sessions with both understanding and direction. Clients often share that they feel calmer, more grounded, and more confident in how they navigate relationships, stress, and emotional challenges through our work together.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I often work with thoughtful, self-aware women who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally reactive, or uncertain in their relationships or life direction. Many appear capable on the outside but feel internally stretched thin, caught in patterns of overthinking, or disconnected from themselves. They may want to better understand their emotional patterns, improve communication, build confidence, and feel more steady and secure within themselves. The clients who tend to benefit most from this work are open to reflection, growth, and developing new ways of responding to life’s challenges, and are ready to invest in meaningful, lasting change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients identify patterns of thinking that contribute to anxiety, self-doubt, and emotional overwhelm. Together, we explore how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact, and work on shifting unhelpful thought patterns into more balanced and realistic ones. I integrate CBT in a collaborative way, helping clients build practical tools they can use in everyday situations — especially during moments of stress, conflict, or overthinking.
Attachment-based
My work is strongly informed by attachment theory. I help clients understand how early relational experiences may shape current patterns in relationships, emotional regulation, and self-worth. Many of my clients notice recurring themes such as fear of abandonment, difficulty setting boundaries, or heightened reactivity during conflict. Through this lens, we work to build greater emotional security, self-trust, and healthier relational dynamics.
Strength-Based
I approach therapy from a strengths-based perspective, recognizing that clients often bring resilience, insight, and capability even when they feel overwhelmed. Rather than focusing solely on problems, we identify existing strengths and build on them to create meaningful change. This approach helps foster confidence, self-efficacy, and a greater sense of empowerment in navigating life’s challenges.
Relational
I use a relational approach to help clients understand how their emotional responses and coping patterns develop within relationships. Together, we explore communication, emotional triggers, and patterns that arise in close relationships. I support clients in building clearer self-expression, stronger emotional regulation, and more secure, confident ways of relating to others.
