The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

In each session, you’ll find a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where your voice is heard, your experiences are validated and your growth is the focus. Clients often walk away with: Clear, achievable goals Personalized coping tools A renewed sense of purpose and clarity Stronger emotional resilience Practical skills to manage anxiety, depression, and stress My goal is to help you: Identify and clarify what you want to change or achieve Build on your existing strengths and successes Develop meaningful, achievable goals Strengthen your self-awareness and confidence Learn practical, real-life tools for managing emotions, relationships, and daily stress Feel empowered to take steps—big or small—toward the life you want Our time together is centered around hope, possibility, and empowerment. You don’t have to have everything figured out—just a willingness to begin.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You’re the one everyone relies on—but lately, it’s exhausting. You’re constantly overthinking, carrying more than you let on, and no matter how much you manage, it never feels like enough. From the outside, you have it together. On the inside, you’re overwhelmed, mentally drained, and ready for something to actually change. I work with high-functioning adults, professionals, and caregivers who are used to “holding it all together” but are struggling with anxiety, burnout, past trauma, or relationship stress. My clients are often dependable, capable, and successful in many areas of life, yet feel stuck, exhausted, or disconnected. With experience working with individuals navigating trauma and complex life stressors, I bring both clinical skill and real-world understanding into our work. Using a solution-focused approach, I help you manage anxiety, process experiences, improve relationships, and feel more in control. My approach is supportive, direct, and collaborative. Reaching out for support isn't always easy, especially when you're used to holding everything together. But if you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or drained, you’re not alone. It can be hard to slow down and ask for support but you deserve a space where you can be real and feel understood. When you’re ready, I invite you to reach out & take that first step. I work with clients struggling with depression, mood concerns, or challenges related to sexual or racial identity. In our initial sessions, we'll explore what's weighing on you and identify patterns that keep you stuck. Together, we'll create a practical, solution-focused plan to help you manage emotions, build coping skills, and feel more stable and confident over time.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I utilize a Solution-Focused approach to counseling. Rather than focusing solely on the presenting concern, I explore client strengths & counter-productive thoughts & behaviors, to help clients gain insight into the way they previously overcame situations. In session, clients will identify internal coping skills and external strengths that will help address current and future barriers.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing because I believe meaningful change happens when people feel understood rather than judged. Many clients come to therapy feeling stuck, uncertain, or conflicted about where they are in life, and my role is not to pressure or “fix” them, but to help them reconnect with their own strengths, values, and motivation for change. Through a collaborative and compassionate approach, I help clients explore what matters most to them, build confidence, and take realistic steps toward the life they want. I value creating a space where clients feel safe, respected, and empowered throughout the process.

Trauma Informed Care

I use a trauma-informed approach because I understand that life experiences can deeply shape the way we think, feel, relate to others, and move through the world. Many people carry the effects of stress, painful relationships, loss, or overwhelming experiences without realizing how much those experiences continue to impact them. In therapy, I focus on creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel respected, emotionally secure, and empowered in their healing process. Rather than asking “What’s wrong with you?”, I approach each person with curiosity, compassion, and an understanding of how past experiences may be influencing the present. My goal is to help clients build resilience, regain a sense of control, and move toward healing at a pace that feels comfortable for them.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) because it helps clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a practical and empowering way. Many people find themselves stuck in patterns of self-doubt, anxiety, stress, or negative thinking that can make everyday life feel overwhelming. CBT provides tools to identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful changes that support emotional well-being. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s individual needs, with the goal of helping clients feel more confident, balanced, and capable in navigating life’s challenges.
