(she/her)
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) dedicated to supporting young adults as they navigate life’s transitions, identity exploration, and healing from past experiences. I earned my Master’s degree from California State University, Bakersfield in 2020 and have been working in the field since 2018, gaining several years of hands-on clinical experience. My work focuses on creating a safe, supportive space where you can feel seen, heard, and understood. I am especially passionate about helping college students and young women work through challenges such as identity struggles, life direction, relationships, and past trauma. Together, we can explore what’s been weighing on you and move toward a more grounded, confident version of yourself.
In our first session, you can expect a gentle introduction where we begin getting to know each other. I may ask some questions about your background, current concerns, and what’s bringing you in, but there’s no pressure to share everything all at once, we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. This time is also an opportunity for you to get a sense of my style and approach, and to see if working together feels like a good fit. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported as we begin to explore what you need and how I can best help.
What stands out in my therapeutic approach is the strong, genuine connection I build with my clients and the emphasis I place on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space. I believe that feeling truly seen and accepted is a powerful foundation for healing, so I prioritize developing a trusting therapeutic relationship where you can openly explore your thoughts and emotions. I also incorporate a self-compassion–centered approach, helping clients learn how to relate to themselves with greater kindness, understanding, and patience. Many of us are our own harshest critics, and part of our work together is gently shifting that inner dialogue toward one that is more supportive and empowering. This combination of connection and self-compassion allows for meaningful growth and lasting change.
I have worked with young adults who are wanting to explore past experiences with parents that have impacted their self-image and helped them explore patterns and how to set boundaries and develop healthy relationships. I have also worked with young adults transitioning into new career or college and helped navigate anxieties as well as process where the pressure and expectations stem from.
Psychodynamic
I utilize psychodynamic therapy in practice to help clients gain awareness into past patterns and attachment styles that may be impacting their current relationships. I also engage psychodynamic practices to help client stay in the present moment with their emotions and feelings to help them express and validate them.
Humanistic
I practice a humanistic approach to create a safe space for clients to feel like they can be themselves. I attempt to provide a comfortable, nonjudgmental, and compassionate environment.

What initially drew me to Daisy is her uniquely warm and authentic style, which instantly put me at ease. In my search for a therapist, I am looking for someone who not only possesses the ability to listen with genuine empathy but also offers thoughtful insights and words of affirmation that resonate deeply with my experiences. I hope to connect with someone who can truly understand my feelings and provide the validation and support I need to navigate my journey towards healing.
