In our first visit, we will discuss the main reasons that bring you into therapy. It’s also very important for me to hear your expectations and needs of therapy to support us with establishing a goal collaboratively that is meaningful and important for you.

I specialize providing individual therapy to adults. Therapy is not a one size fits all approach. By using a unique client focused approach in our treatment (ACT, CBT, DBT, strength based, brainspotting, EMDR, etc), I have helped others become a more healed and improved version of themselves. Establishing your therapy expectations is my focus and we will work around what is important for you. I specialize in working with individuals who are navigating stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional challenges. My approach is particularly effective for clients who are looking to gain deeper self-awareness, develop practical coping skills, and heal from past experiences. Whether you're struggling with relationship issues, managing intense emotions, or dealing with the effects of trauma, I provide a supportive and safe space to be open and vulnerable.

My treatment methods

Brainspotting

I am level 2 trained in Brainspotting therapy and have used fundamentals of this modality to help with trauma processing, management of the nervous system, working on processing further with depression and anxiety. During a brainspotting session, we will access areas in your brain where unresolved emotions or trauma may be stored, and work through them more effectively than traditional talk therapy alone.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I completed a 6 month training program with the Academy of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and have used CBT oriented therapy for depression, low self esteem, anxiety. With a CBT approach, we focus on how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. By identifying and challenging a negative inner dialogue or negative thoughts that are not serving you, you can start to feel better and see an improvement in your overall behaviors.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I am trained in DBT, had experience in 2022 facilitating a DBT oriented group in an IOP setting. DBT combines mindfulness, emotional regulation, and practical skills to help you navigate life’s challenges with more balance and less stress. It’s especially helpful for individuals struggling with anxiety, self-harm, emotional dysregulation, or relationship difficulties.

EMDR

I am EMDR trained to support adults navigating past trauma responses, work through managing negative beliefs about themselves due to trauma events. In EMDR, we use bilateral stimulation (like guided eye movements or tapping) to help your brain reprocess and release stuck emotions, reducing their negative impact on your daily life.
