Hello, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I've been a therapist for twelve years specializing in teens within the school setting. Since expanding outside of schools, it has been exciting to bring those skills into practice with adults who are exploring new paths into their future. I am passionate about helping you address issues from the past that may be impeding you in the present, then finding your own strength and wisdom to create your ideal future.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, you can expect us to start rapport immediately. After introducing ourselves and discussing the therapeutic process, this time is yours to discuss the challenges that are bringing you to therapy and how they are impacting your life. Just the process of sharing can help create a sense of relief and more hope for the future.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength as a therapist is my ability to connect with clients. I bring a very human approach that is calm, kind, humorous, and direct. Clients find me to be relatable yet knowledgeable which is comforting as they are divining into the most personal an vulnerable aspects of themselves. I am grateful that clients see me as a confidant and friend.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My favorite client is eager to find an ally who will help them navigate their emotions good and bad, who will listen and help them understand complex trauma or unresolved feelings from the past, and who will be a cheerleader for them during life's highs and lows.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavior therapy is one of my favorite methods for therapy because it is extremely approachable for clients and helps them find awareness in their thoughts and how those thoughts impact their feelings and behavior.

Daialectical Behavior (DBT)

I love using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy with clients as it naturally builds on CBT skills and teaches mindfulness to regulate emotions and helps find clarity and balance in difficult situations.
