Hi there, My name is Day! Do you ever feel lost, full of unnamed emotions, or having a difficult time navigating through life? Are you struggling to be kind to your mind? I can understand what that may all feel like. I help individuals learn and master the tools needed to succeed in life. I work with clients who struggle with many different mental health challenges. Together we work on a plan to help you reach your goals and full potential to navigate through this hard thing we call life. I integrate mindfulness, therapeutic worksheets, active listening, and creative arts therapy to help you reach your full healing potential. Deciding that you need help and taking steps to seek that help is not easy but, you have made it this far! So let's work together to give you the healing power you deserve!
During the first session we will complete brief introductions and then dive into presenting concerns. We will discuss what your challenges are and what you have done to address them in the past. Once I have a better understanding of what is going on, I will put together an individualized treatment plan to best fit your needs. We then discuss scheduling and get your follow ups in the calendar.
As a therapist, my biggest strengths are being able to empathize with each individual, my honesty/transparency, and my ability to actively, and truly listen.
I am passionate about working with individuals who are motivated and eager to make changes in their lives that will improve their mental health. Individuals who are ready to dig deep and process their life challenges in efforts to have a happier life.

Having someone you feel comfortable enough with to share your innermost thoughts isn’t easy—but with Day, it is seamless. She has a unique gift for listening deeply and then gently breaking things down in a way that helps you reflect and better understand yourself. She challenges me to think, but always in the best and most compassionate way. I take what she says and save those nuggets of knowledge for a rainy day.
CBT teaches individuals coping skills for dealing with different problems. We focus your thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes that affect your feelings and behaviors.
TF-CBT is more centered for children as well as their caregivers. This is much like CBT but directly focuses on trauma related challenges.
Positive psychology focuses on character strengths and behaviors that help individuals build a life of meaning and purpose. This is used to address individuals with low self-esteem, self-worth challenges, and trust issues.
