At your first appointment, which is called an Intake Appointment, we will discuss your concerns and talk about your preferred goals for therapy. We will also talk about what to expect regarding my work with you. As a solution focused therapist, it is my goal to guide our work together efficiently and effectively. I regularly ask for feedback on provided interventions as well as measure our progress toward your goals. If working with women or parents seeking parenting support, I meet with clients remotely via telehealth. For children and teens in Franklin, TN, I meet with them in-home so that we can utilize child-appropriate therapies such as play and art therapy interventions.

I became a therapist because I believe the key to changing the future begins with helping parents and children. This change not only changes the future of that particular client, but also everyone with whom that client interacts over their lifetime. Working with one family literally changes the world! For women experiencing infertility, loss, and perinatal mood/anxiety disorders, my personal experiences led me to specialized training in these areas. I also have training specific to helping families overcome their challenges and find healthier ways of interacting with one another, in Positive Parent Coaching, and in expressive therapies for children and teens, allowing therapy to be non-threatening for them.
