Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and have been practicing for 10 years. I am bilingual (Spanish and English) and work with both individuals and couples. My counseling style for individuals focuses on building a strong therapeutic relationship and creating a safe space for clients to explore their feelings, thoughts, and perspectives. For couples, my counseling style includes helping the couple improve their relationship through increasing their emotional bond.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we will start with introductions and then I will give you the space to tell me what brings you to counseling so that we can get started on your treatment. By the end of our first session, we will have worked together to create a personalized treatment plan that includes your goals and expectations for counseling.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am an empathetic and compassionate counselor who values the significance of authenticity and the counseling relationship. I truly care about my clients and about being effective in their treatment. In my many years as a counselor, I have developed an expertise in integrating elements of effective therapy modalities, such as Mindfulness, CBT, and Person Centered Therapy in order to help each client meet their specific goals.

I work with clients who struggle with their anxiety, depression, or stress related to relationship problems, work, or other life transitions. These things can sometimes get in the way of their goals or personal growth. I work with them to build self-compassion, introduce strategies for coping, and offer other perspectives that might help increase mental wellness.
