New to Grow
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have been licensed since 2011. Throughout my career, I have worked as a behavioral case manager while using my therapy training to support, guide, and advocate for clients through many different life challenges. My therapeutic approach is person-centered and individualized to meet each client’s unique needs. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy strategies, Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills, Motivational Interviewing, and other evidence-based approaches to help clients gain insight, build healthier coping skills, and move toward meaningful change. My goal is to walk alongside each client as they work toward becoming their ideal self, achieving personal growth, and experiencing greater self-fulfillment. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I am committed to creating a supportive space where clients feel heard, empowered, and encouraged to accomplish all they hope to become.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a therapeutic relationship. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, what you hope to accomplish, and any challenges you are currently facing. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered as we begin working together toward your personal goals. The session will include an initial introduction, goal mapping, and planning.
What makes me unique is that I bring both professional training and real-life understanding into the therapy room. Like many people, I have experienced challenges, transitions, disappointments, and moments that required resilience, faith, self-reflection, and personal growth. These life experiences have helped me become more empathetic, patient, and grounded. They remind me that healing is not always a straight path, but change is possible with support, honesty, and the right tools.
My ideal client is ready to begin the process of healing, growing, and gaining a better understanding of themselves. They may be experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, grief, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty moving forward from past experiences. My goal is to support clients who want to become more confident, emotionally balanced, self-aware, and fulfilled. Together, we work toward identifying barriers, building healthy coping skills, strengthening self-worth, and helping each client move closer to the person they desire to become.
