Hello. As a counselor for 21 years, I have been exposed to people in various situations ranging from their home, school jail, hospital, in an office and other places as needed. This also ranged from crises to lifestyle changes and everything in between. Often it is the things that keep people from growing and moving forward that are the most challenging and often the hardest to change. I only help coach alongside the journey of personal development when real growth happens.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Usually the first session is a way for us to get to know one another and so that I can fully grasp the challenges that you face and find some way forward together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

It seems that listening to your struggles as well as helping you find a way through them could be a strength of mine as well as seeing your challenges through another perspective

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Often it is those who struggle the most who have the greatest potential for growth. Therefor, it seems that those who have a history of trauma that affect their current lives seem to gravitate to me as well as others who are challenges in navigating through the obstacles of life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Often people carry a perception of the world around them as shaped by earlier life experiences and cannot change this unless able to know the deepest messages they tell themselves. When able to uncover this and heal from it, then true freedom comes.

Trauma Informed Care

Being truly free from the grip of the past is a worthwhile journey. When experiences in life have a lasting impact it can affect so much of you as a person. Sometimes it shapes us to ways we do want want to be. Other times these experiences can help us grow. The journey of healing is way of knowing what to hang on to and what needs to change in order to get to the next level.
