LMFT, 7 years of experience
Hello and welcome! I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California. I provide individual, child, teen, family, and couples therapy, both in person and online. I have clinical experience in a variety of settings and am passionate about helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and cultural identity issues. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and culturally responsive. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, understand your emotions, and build on your strengths. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based techniques, I help clients unlearn negative thought patterns, develop emotional regulation skills, and reconnect with their inner resilience. If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, sad, or irritable, I will help you find tools to regulate your nervous system and bring balance back into your daily life. If you’ve experienced trauma, we will work together to process or reprocess your experiences in a way that promotes safety and healing. My goal is for you to know that your voice matters — you do not need to suffer in silence. 🌼 A Little About Me I’m a first-generation Mexican American, a mother and dog mom, a lover of nature and a runner. I understand firsthand that change can be difficult and that making time for therapy, self-care, and healing takes courage. Like many of my clients, I have faced life’s obstacles, grief, and stresses — and I believe that healing is possible for everyone. Taking the first step can feel intimidating, but it’s also the beginning of transformation. You already have the ability to heal — and I’m honored to walk beside you on that journey.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions. I will review any questionnaires and assessments you have completed prior to session with you and obtain pertinent information, then, we will dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I pride myself on building genuine connections with individuals of all ages, creating a safe and supportive space where you can find your voice, feel heard, understood, and free from judgment. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, or relationship challenges, I am here to help you build the tools and confidence to manage life’s ups and downs. Life can be both challenging and beautiful — and my goal is to help you develop emotional resilience, strengthen self-esteem, and rediscover balance and joy. I will walk beside you on your healing journey, helping you uncover your strengths and create a life where you can grow, thrive, and flourish.
I enjoy working with adolescent clients struggling with anxiety and depression, mother's struggling through motherhood at all stages of their children's lives, first responders and first responder families who need support navigating the unique difficulties of the profession.
Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I’ve worked with clients to improve negative habits and challenge negative thinking patterns which directly affect how one feels about themselves.
Psychodynamic therapy is an approach to psychotherapy that explores the unconscious processes and past experiences to understand and address current psychological issues. I have used psychodynamic approaches to explore impact of intergenerational trauma and work through attachment wounds.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment is a goal-oriented and brief therapeutic approach that focuses on identifying and enhancing your strengths and resources to create positive change in your life.

Leonor is my second therapist through Grow, due to my first no longer being available. She was extremely warm from the first day. She heard my story and what I needed help with and found a way to jump in from where I was in my journey. I was honestly unsure how it would work since we didn't really know each other. But it was obvious at every session that she was paying attention to me and has been extremely helpful. I don't think I would've progressed as much without her guidance. So grateful!
