I have been serving my community as a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2017. After completing training in 2010 at The University of Houston – Victoria, I began practicing Professional Counseling in the Private Practice setting. I absolutely love what I do and I truly believe that counseling is my purpose; therefore, for me it is not work, it is my hobby!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My goal is to provide you a safe space to be heard, respectfully, unapologetically and free from judgment, as we carefully sift through your experiences and emotions to gain understanding, realization and awareness and build a positive rapport with one another.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

In addition to caring for clients through private practice, I have experience practicing in the Inpatient Hospital setting, within the school setting, Local Mental Health Authority Clinics, Residential Treatment Centers, and within the juvenile and adult Justice System. I tend to gravitate toward Reality Therapy, Motivation Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy, but I truly believe that you are the expert in your life and that it is my job to help you discover this self-realization. The ultimate goal is that clients begin taking positive steps toward discovering healthy perspectives, forming healthy boundaries and creating new habits that are conducive to the life that you are striving to build.
