Going to therapy was one of the hardest journeys I have taken in life. Getting over the fear of being judged, labeled, and uncomfortable were the hardest parts. My experience in receiving therapy has given me insight to what it’s like on the other side of the couch and motivated me to provide the best clinical care possible. While the journey may be difficult to start, it is one that will never be in vain. Congratulations on taking your first step.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation for a brief introduction and answers to common questions. Once the consultation is complete, you will be given access to your online portal to complete documentation as well as request future appointments. It is my goal to make things as seamless as possible.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
Growing up African American on multiple military bases taught me early on about cultural sensitivity. I have always had the pleasure of experiencing different cultures, customs, and social norms due to this. I have also, unfortunately, experienced microaggressions, implicit bias, and racism in other areas of my life. These life experiences have shaped my view and help me practice with humility, honoring everyone’s experience
