Ann McLemore
I am an LCSW and I have been working in the clinical field for 15 years. I graduated with my Masters in Social Work from Florida State University. I have worked with children, teens, and adults with many different presentations, including trauma, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, grief, life transitions, and more. I am also bilingual in Spanish and have worked with the Latin American community throughout my career.
First session
Healing isn’t linear, and you don’t have to do it alone. Therapy can be a powerful space to reconnect with yourself, find clarity, and move forward with intention. Whether you're just starting or returning to this work, I’d be honored to walk beside you. You deserve support that meets you where you are - with compassion and care.
Strengths
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in respect for your story. I have a person-centered and trauma-informed approach, using EMDR and attachment work. As a bilingual Spanish speaker and LGBTQIA+ ally, I offer an inclusive, affirming space where your full identity is honored and supported.
Ideal clients
The best client to work with me is someone who has felt stuck in traditional talk therapy and want to try something different. This can happen for lots of reasons. For some people it's because they're already very self-aware and have intellectually processed through the same problems and past events, but are stuck in that loop without seeing much change. If you want to work past this plateau, I can help you get out of your head and start experiencing transformational breakthroughs in your mental health.
Treatment methods
EMDR
