Hello there! I am a dual Licensed Professional Counselor and School Counselor who is passionate about providing individualized therapy using a person-centered and holistic approach. I have a Masters in Counseling from The University of Saint Joseph, and I have experience working with clients of all ages. I believe that in a society where mental health can often be looked upon as an afterthought, it is especially important now more than ever that it is prioritized. I aim to create a collaborative working relationship that will ultimately lead to self-improvement and healing within a safe therapeutic environment. I use an interpersonal and relational-cultural approach in therapy meaning that one of my top priorities is getting to know the client as a whole person. This includes the many layers of a client’s identity and experiences. It is important to me that I place a large emphasis on client strengths and cultivate authenticity and empowerment so that they feel in control of their life. I believe therapy should be collaborative and depending on the need, I integrate a wide range of treatment options including CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Therapy. Some of my training includes working with anxiety/depression, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, trauma and abuse. My approach to counseling is rooted in my experience within therapeutic practice and my commitment to equity.
In our first session, my main goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. We'll start by discussing what brought you to therapy, any specific goals or concerns you have, and what you'd like to get out of our time together. I may ask some background questions to better understand your experiences, but you are always in control of what you choose to share. This session is about building a connection and making sure you feel heard, supported, and understood. It's also a chance for you to ask any questions about the therapy process, my approach, or anything else that’s on your mind. By the end of our conversation, we’ll talk about next steps and whether working together feels like the right fit for you.
I use a wide range of treatment methods. Some of which include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Person Centered Therapy Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Motivational Interviewing (MI) Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Solution Focused Brief Therapy Narrative Therapy
I believe I am a strong communicator as well as an effective listener. I am intentional when explaining my therapeutic outlook, and my goal is to always be present and in the moment with you. Being open and explaining my reasoning process is always at the forefront of my therapeutic practice and I believe this is a strength of mine. My flexible approach allows me to better understand your specific circumstance and all of its nuance.
I’m best positioned to support individuals navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, life transitions, or feeling stuck or disconnected. I work well with clients who are seeking clarity, emotional balance, healing from past experiences, or personal growth. Whether you're new to therapy or returning, I offer a supportive space to explore where you are and where you'd like to be.

Eden makes a strong effort to try to understand you holistically as a person to help you in any way she can. Very warm while also serious enough to ensure you are getting benefits of actual therapy. I would highly recommend.
