New to Grow
Hi, I’m so glad you’re here. I am a bilingual therapist originally from Caracas, Venezuela, and I am honored to support the diverse community here in Florida in both English and Spanish. In my practice, I focus on truly accompanying your pace, offering a warm, judgment-free space where your unique cultural, personal, and spiritual experiences are deeply respected. By gently blending clinical psychology and tools like EMDR with a deeply rooted Catholic-Christian worldview, my goal is to help you heal your mind, body, and spirit so you can find true peace and live a fulfilling and authentic life.
Our first session is all about building a comfortable connection and helping you feel safe. We take the time to discuss what brings you to therapy, what you hope to achieve, and how your faith or background impacts your life. This is simply a warm, judgment-free space for us to map out a clear, collaborative path forward together. No worries if you don't have it all together, I will help you figure it out.
I focus on providing care that pays attention to your whole being. I am dedicated to offering faith-based therapy that is firmly supported by evidence-based treatments, utilizing specialized approaches like EMDR to help you heal. To ensure you feel fully comfortable expressing yourself, our sessions can be conducted in either English or Spanish. Ultimately, my goal is to accompany your pace, honoring your unique values as we work together toward emotional and spiritual peace.
Other specialties
I identify as
Christian Counseling
This method focuses on uniting Catholic-Christian principles with clinical psychology. My objective is to help you integrate your mind, body, and spirit, ensuring that your mental health journey remains deeply rooted in your faith and provides a clear path forward.
EMDR
I use EMDR to help you process and move past painful memories or anxieties that feel stuck. By using structured bilateral movements, we will work to reprocess these heavy experiences so they lose their emotional sting and stop hijacking your day-to-day life.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
Closely connected to my humanistic approach, this method means I accompany your pace by providing a warm, strictly judgment-free space where you are the expert on your own life, using active listening to help you safely explore your thoughts and emotions.
Faith based therapy
I welcome your unique spiritual background into our sessions, ensuring your values are respected as we look at your mental health through a framework of meaning and purpose.
Humanistic
This approach is the foundation of my person-centered work. I focus on your wholeness as a person rather than just a set of symptoms or a diagnosis. My goal is to help you recognize your innate strengths, unlock your unique potential, and achieve deep personal growth.
