Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know one another. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, explore your current concerns, identify strengths, and begin developing goals. There's no pressure to share everything at once—I focus on creating a comfortable space where you can feel heard and supported.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients often describe me as warm, approachable, supportive, and direct. I strive to create a judgment-free space where you can speak openly and honestly. I balance empathy with practical guidance, helping you feel validated while also providing tools and strategies to move forward with confidence. My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel safe, understood, and empowered. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while helping clients explore emotions, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and develop healthier ways of coping.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with teen girls, young adults, and women experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, low self-esteem, life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional overwhelm. Many of my clients struggle with overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or feeling disconnected from themselves and want support creating lasting change. Your daughter doesn’t seem like herself lately, and you feel it even if you can’t fully explain it. It shows up in the extra time she spends in her room, the short replies, or how small moments turn into tension. You’ve tried giving her space, checking in, saying the right things, but it still feels like you’re losing connection with her. You want to help before things get worse, but every conversation feels harder than it used to. It’s exhausting watching someone you love struggle while feeling unsure how to reach her, and part of you misses the version of her that felt lighter, calmer, and more present.

I help clients identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck and develop realistic steps toward change. Together, we build coping skills, increase self-awareness, strengthen confidence, and create personalized strategies that support growth both inside and outside of therapy sessions.
