Healing is more than the absence of symptoms, it is the restoration of hope, peace, and self-worth. As a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, I provide faith-based, integrative psychiatric care for adults in California and Nevada. I work with anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, insomnia, addiction recovery, and more. My holistic approach blends evidence-based medication management with nutritional psychiatry, lifestyle strategies, and Christian counseling when desired—strengthening mind, body, and spirit for lasting wholeness.
I know it takes courage to begin this journey. My role is to meet you where you are, believe your story, and offer a safe, judgment-free space for healing. If you are seeking care that honors both your faith and your mental health, I invite you to take the first step toward feeling whole again.
I use holistic, solution-oriented, and open-minded framework. I consider the whole person emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and contextual factors, while using structured, evidence-based TF-CBT interventions. I remain flexible and collaborative, adapting treatment to each client’s unique needs, strengths, and readiness. My approach emphasizes practical coping skills, thoughtful cognitive work, and gradual trauma processing, while fostering empowerment, resilience, and meaningful, sustainable change.
Psychodynamic
I use this approach to help clients understand how their past experiences, unconscious processes, and relational patterns influence their current emotional difficulties and behaviors. I focus on identifying recurring themes in clients’ narratives, particularly patterns related to attachment, self-esteem, affect regulation, and relationships. I pay close attention to the ways clients relate to others and to me within the therapeutic relationship, using this as a window into longstanding interpersonal dynamics (transference). By gently exploring these patterns as they arise in session, I help clients develop insight into how earlier experiences continue to shape present-day reactions and expectations.
Trauma-Focused CBT
I use this approach as an evidence-based approach to support clients who have experienced trauma and present with trauma-related emotional, behavioral, and cognitive difficulties. My work is grounded in the understanding that traumatic experiences can disrupt emotional regulation, cognitive processing, and a client’s sense of safety and control.
