Hello! My name is Cassie and I am a LMFT practicing in California. I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have over 14 years of experience working with children, families, individuals, and groups. Currently, I work with adults who need extra support to face the many challenges life can bring, whether that be being a parent, navigating relationships, or adjusting to college life, I'm here to listen and work together with you towards making your goals possible.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During the first appointment, I will ask you lots of questions about you, your challenges, and your personal needs and goals for therapy. We will work collaboratively to see if I may be a good fit for you and to see if you feel comfortable with me and my approach. It is important for me to honor your bravery and your needs in this journey so deciding if we are a good fit is very important and that is okay!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with people going through their own unique struggles and challenges in life, I have learned how to best help clients have less stress, conflict and disruptions in their lives. I am flexible with my therapeutic style, allowing clients to drive the session while I offer feedback, support, guidance, and also challenge clients towards their goals when needed.

My treatment methods

Humanistic

I use this theory to help clients discover their true authentic selves and find solutions to their concerns in the process. This allows me to acknowledge client's experiences in a respectful manner.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is helpful in understanding client's thoughts, including those that may be negative or overwhelming, so client's can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way.
