I was born into this calling and continue to choose it from a place of love and passion. I have been walking paths of healing as a licensed marriage and family therapist since 2016, and have been gathering learning and community ever since to formally apply research backed science with intimacy and caring to provide and environment where people want to grow and embrace the changes they’ve wanted to make.
In our first session, I will answer any questions you may have about therapy and my approach or share some of that with you, ensure all documentation is completed and go over informed consent, establish safety as necessary, and take you through an intake questionnaire to guide us and help bring me into your world, strengths, and struggles. This may take 1 or 2 sessions to complete.
I am open and authentic in expressing that I had to be on a healing journey to become a healing leader. Too often, it seems clients feel they are alone with an expert rather than together with another person figuring out life, parenting, relationships, and aging; you will never feel alone on your journey if you’re walking with me. My 8 years of experience have been spent exploring modalities of healing that accommodate many walks of life and I am as comfortable meeting clients in their church gardens as their reiki healer’s office, in treating trauma and loss as in treating anxiety or issues related to sexuality and gender. And a strength I am most proud of is knowing when to refer and connect clients with the care they may need that I may not be able to offer AND helping them find the resources before they leave!
I love working with people in transition: ages, schools, relationships, jobs, grief, selves, all of these ways we change whether willing or ready are places I thrive in showing up as a pillar of unconditional love and support for your most authentic and capable means of making it through. Meeting someone where they are and supporting them to where they choose to be next, no matter how long that may take, is the work I enjoy most. I come primarily from a person-centered framework, but have been building my knowledge and competence in Internal Family Systems to incorporate into my healing practice. I also have proficiency in EMDR and enjoy working mindfulness practices into healthy habit building.

I’ve been meeting with Robyn since May 2020. I followed her from her previous employer to here. She’s made a huge impact on my journey from feeling my lowest to feeling as great as I do now. Robyn’s very knowledgeable. She has also made many efforts to learn more to better support me. She’s definitely dedicated to my progress. She remembers things from when we first met which really reinforces my trust in her. Overall, I’d recommend her to anyone. I have nothing but good things to say about her

Robyn has helped me transform my life! When I first started seeing Robyn, I had no idea who I was. I was trapped and miserable in my life. Having experienced childhood trauma myself, when I had to deal with the trauma my children were going through and the loss of my mother, I became lost in my own PTSD. Robyn has played an essential role in my healing and has provided me with the tools to see myself as the strong woman I am.
