Hello! I’m Stacey Greer, a licensed Clinical Social Worker with 12 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, obsessive thoughts or recurrent thoughts of past trauma? Whether you’re dealing with any of these issues, or just need someone to talk to, I’m here to support you on your journey toward healing and personal growth. My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I believe that therapy is a partnership where we work together to explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I utilize a blend of therapeutic modalities tailored to your needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. I am passionate about helping others cope with the difficulties they face and providing the non judgmental support everyone deserves.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

When you work with me, you can expect a warm and compassionate environment where your concerns are validated. We’ll work together to set goals and develop practical strategies to address your unique challenges. I value transparency and will regularly check in with you to ensure our work is aligned with your needs and progress.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to assist clients with challenging negative thoughts and replacing them with more positive realistic thoughts.

EMDR

I am trained in EMDR and use it to reprocess past negative experiences (big or small) in order to move forward without the past being an influence in your present life.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use ACT to help others stay focused on the present and accept thoughts and feelings without judgement.
