Welcome! I’m so happy you’re here and considering starting therapy. Im Rachel, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas, with over 10 years of experience. My goal for therapy is to create a truly safe, empathetic, non-judgmental space in a collaborative journey towards healing and wholeness. I have treated a wide range of clients including those dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, ADHD, trauma, and beyond. I am also a fierce advocate and ally for LGBT+ clients, and am passionate about having a racially/culturally sensitive approach to therapy. I have specialized training in several different modalities but most often lean on Relational therapy, trauma-informed CBT, and Solutions Focused therapy. My approach is solution-focused at its core, fully collaborative, and research-based, combining empathy with practical tools that help clients move from self-doubt and perfectionism toward clarity and self-acceptance. I believe therapy should feel warm, supportive, and empowering—never one-size-fits-all. Together, we’ll create meaningful goals that will support lasting change. I provide affirming, inclusive therapy that honors every client’s unique story. Whether you’re navigating daily overwhelm or working through deeper patterns, we will work side by side to help you gain insight, confidence, and direction so you can live more authentically and fully.
I want every client I meet with to feel heard, seen and cared of. Whether I end up being your long-term fit or not, I want to focus on getting to know you in our first session together to create a collaborative plan that will serve you well. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals and your background, along with anything else that might be related. We will then make a plan for ongoing therapy and follow-up sessions from there.
Beginning therapy can be a nerve wracking experience! I feel like what I offer is an empathetic, compassionate, understanding and a down-to-earth solution-oriented approach to therapy. I am here to support you every step of the way, trusting that you are the expert in your own life. I work hard to read/learn constantly in my professional life, and I’ll never suggest anything to you I’m not actively working on practicing in my own life. I am so passionate about this work and I want to do everything in my power to help you thrive.
I am well versed and trained in a variety of modalities, and I love working with a wide range of clients to help them achieve their unique goals. If you are willing to show up and to try to be vulnerable and to make positive changes, you are my ideal client, and I already deeply respect you for that effort.

The majority of my work has been centered around supporting clients who have dealt with trauma. It is one of my greatest passions to support clients who are in the process of healing.

Rachel has been through it ALL with me. She is very open-minded and relatable to what I am going through. She's given me the confidence and tools I needed to put up boundaries and hold them firm with family and friends. Rachel has helped me work through multiple diagnoses (adhd, anxiety and ocd) and to see the positives with being neurodivergent.
