New to Grow
I believe therapy should be a space where people feel safe, supported, and empowered to grow. I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on helping clients build insight, resilience, and meaningful change. My communication style is warm, honest, collaborative, and supportive. I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves while also feeling challenged to grow, build insight, and make meaningful changes at a pace that feels manageable and empowering.
Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a supportive, judgment-free space. We’ll discuss what brought you to therapy, the challenges you’re facing, your goals, and what you hope to gain from the process. I understand starting therapy can feel vulnerable, so my goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and supported from the very beginning. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting. Together, we’ll begin identifying patterns, strengths, and areas for growth while exploring what support looks like for you. I take a collaborative and practical approach, meaning we work together to create goals that feel meaningful, realistic, and aligned with your needs and values.
My greatest strengths are helping clients build self-awareness, process challenges with honesty and compassion, and create meaningful, sustainable change. I balance emotional support with practical guidance to help clients feel more grounded, resilient, and connected to themselves.
I work best with adults who are navigating anxiety, ADHD, racial issues, burnout, current and historical trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are thoughtful, engaged in therapy and willingness to grow, high-achieving individuals who can feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from themselves and want support creating healthier, more meaningful lives for themselves and others.
I identify as
Trauma Informed Care
I use a trauma-informed approach that prioritizes emotional safety, trust, collaboration, and empowerment. I recognize how past experiences can impact emotions, relationships, behaviors, and coping patterns, and I work with clients at a pace that feels supportive and respectful to them.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use ACT to help clients build psychological flexibility, manage difficult thoughts and emotions, and reconnect with their values. Together, we focus on developing healthier coping strategies while creating meaningful, value-driven change in daily life.
Experiential Therapy
I incorporate experiential techniques to help clients process emotions, increase self-awareness, and explore patterns in a more active and engaging way. This may include reflection exercises, mindfulness, role-play, or other interactive approaches tailored to each client’s needs.
Somatic
I incorporate somatic approaches to help clients better understand the connection between the mind and body. Together, we explore how stress, trauma, and emotions may show up physically while building grounding skills, nervous system awareness, and healthier ways to feel safe and regulated.
Psychodynamic
I use a psychodynamic approach to help clients explore how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns may impact their current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we work to increase insight, self-awareness, and emotional understanding to support long-term growth and healing.
