New to Grow
I offer laid-back, no-nonsense psychotherapy that gets to the heart of what’s holding you back, so you can move forward with clarity and confidence. I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff or heavy to be meaningful. I create a space where clients can be themselves without judgment, while still being challenged when it counts. I keep things real, approachable, and grounded, helping you feel at ease while we work through what matters.
In our first session, my goal is to get to know you—who you are, what’s bringing you to therapy, and what you hope to get out of it. We’ll spend time talking about what’s been going on in your life, what’s working, and what feels stuck. I’ll also explain a bit about how I work so you know what to expect moving forward. This session is more of a conversation than an interrogation—no pressure, no judgment, and no need to have everything figured out. It’s a space for you to share at your own pace while I listen, ask questions, and start to get a sense of what might help you move toward your goals. By the end of our first meeting, we’ll collaborate on a plan that feels realistic and aligned with what you want to achieve, setting the foundation for our work together.
My greatest strength is my down-to-earth, relatable style and the way I make therapy feel comfortable and real. I’m skilled at cutting through the noise to get to the heart of what’s going on—helping people see patterns clearly and make practical, meaningful changes.
I work with adolescents, families, couples, and adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or want improvement. I help clients identify what is not working, build insight, and make meaningful change.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a collaborative and practical approach to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify patterns that may be contributing to distress or keeping you stuck, and we work to replace them with more balanced, realistic ways of thinking and responding. In sessions, I focus on helping you build skills you can use outside of therapy—such as reframing negative thoughts, improving emotional regulation, and developing healthy coping strategies. CBT is structured, goal-oriented, and tailored to your unique needs and pace. Whether you’re working through anxiety, depression, stress, or relationship challenges, we’ll use evidence-based tools to help you gain insight, make meaningful changes, and feel more in control of your life.
I use Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients identify their strengths, resources, and what’s already working in their lives. Instead of dwelling on problems, we focus on building solutions and creating small, achievable steps toward your goals. This approach is positive, collaborative, and future-oriented—designed to help you gain clarity, confidence, and momentum. Together, we’ll highlight what’s possible and turn your insights into meaningful change.
I use DBT to help clients find balance between acceptance and change. Through skills like mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and effective communication, we work together to build stability, resilience, and healthier relationships.
