Nyob Zoo! (pronounced “nyō.zo̊ng” or “gnaw schong”) “Nyob zoo” is “hello” in Hmong (an Asian ethnic group). I am a first generation Asian-American and born and raised in rural Northern California. I understand the unique barriers and stigma of seeking professional help.
