New to Grow
I’m a trauma-informed therapist who works with adults, children, and teens navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, and emotional overwhelm. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as EMDR with relational, somatic, and inner-child-focused work to support healing at both the nervous system and emotional level. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounding, with a focus on helping clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to move forward.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In your first session, you can expect a warm, supportive space where we focus on getting to know you—not rushing into anything before you feel ready. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping to change or understand, and any concerns you have about the process. I’ll also explain how I work, answer your questions, and begin identifying what will help you feel safe and supported as we move forward together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What stands out about my approach is that I focus on healing at the root, not just managing symptoms. I integrate evidence-based trauma treatments like EMDR with relational, somatic, and inner-child-focused work, allowing therapy to address both nervous system regulation and emotional insight. Clients often report feeling more grounded, less reactive, and more connected to themselves and others as they move through the work at a pace that feels safe, collaborative, and empowering.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am best positioned to serve clients who feel stuck in patterns shaped by trauma, anxiety, or early relational wounds and are ready to do deeper, meaningful work—not just symptom management. I work well with adults, children, and teens who want to better understand their emotional responses, strengthen regulation skills, and heal the root causes of distress. Many of my clients are seeking greater self-trust, healthier relationships, relief from overwhelming emotions, and a sense of wholeness and stability in their lives.
EMDR
In my practice, I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach to help clients process distressing experiences that continue to impact their emotional, relational, or somatic well-being. I am trained in EMDR and integrate it thoughtfully and collaboratively, always prioritizing safety, stabilization, and client readiness. I use EMDR to address concerns such as trauma and complex trauma, anxiety, panic, grief and loss, attachment wounds, negative self-beliefs, and adverse childhood experiences. Rather than focusing solely on retelling events, EMDR allows clients to reprocess memories in a way that reduces emotional intensity and helps the nervous system move out of survival mode. In practice, I tailor EMDR to each client’s needs. This may include traditional bilateral stimulation (eye movements, tapping, or tones), resourcing and grounding work, parts-informed or attachment-focused EMDR, and developmentally appropriate adaptations for children and teens. I also integrate EMDR with relational, somatic, and inner-child-focused work to support deeper healing and long-term change. My goal in using EMDR is not to rush processing, but to help clients feel more regulated, empowered, and connected—both to themselves and to the present moment—so they can move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and self-compassion.
