Hi, I'm Anny. I'm a bilingual (English/Spanish) therapist who is passionate about helping people navigate life's challenges while feeling a little less alone in the process. I know reaching out for therapy isn't always easy, which is why I focus on creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship stress, family challenges, or a major life transition, I'm here to help you gain insight, build confidence, and move toward the version of yourself you want to become.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if it's your first time. During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to therapy. I'll ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, relationships, and goals so I can better understand your experiences and how I can best support you. There is no pressure to share everything at once. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive space where you can move at a pace that feels right for you. By the end of the session, we'll begin identifying areas of focus and discuss what you hope to gain from therapy moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe one of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to connect with people and help them feel at ease. I bring warmth, empathy, and authenticity to each session, creating a space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. I balance support with gentle encouragement, helping clients gain insight, build confidence, and develop practical tools they can apply outside of therapy. My hope is that you leave sessions feeling understood, supported, and better equipped to navigate life's challenges.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults who feel overwhelmed by the weight of life's responsibilities and expectations. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, depression, self-doubt, relationship challenges, family stress, or major life transitions. They often find themselves caring for everyone else while neglecting their own needs and may feel stuck in patterns of overthinking, people-pleasing, or self-criticism. My ideal client is motivated for change, even if they're not sure where to start. They are looking for a supportive, nonjudgmental space to better understand themselves, develop healthier coping strategies, and build a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling. Together, we work to increase self-awareness, strengthen emotional resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In today's world, it's easy to get stuck in patterns of overthinking and self-criticism. Our thoughts can sometimes convince us of things that aren't fully true, leading to increased anxiety, stress, or low mood. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, build self-awareness, and develop healthier ways of responding to life's challenges.

Attachment-based

Our earliest relationships can shape the way we view ourselves, connect with others, and navigate emotions. Using an attachment-based approach, I help clients explore how past experiences may be influencing current relationships, patterns, and emotional responses. Together, we work toward developing healthier connections, greater self-understanding, and a stronger sense of security.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

As a bilingual therapist, I understand that culture can play an important role in how we experience emotions, relationships, and personal challenges. I strive to provide culturally responsive care that honors each client's background, values, and lived experiences while supporting their individual goals for growth and healing.

Compassion Focused

One thing I often remind clients is that you deserve the same compassion you so freely give to others. When we're struggling, it's easy to judge ourselves harshly or focus only on what we're doing wrong. Through a compassion-focused lens, I help clients practice self-kindness, challenge shame, and create space for healing, growth, and resilience.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Many of us spend so much time worrying about the future or replaying the past that we miss what's happening in the present moment. A mindfulness-based approach helps clients slow down, increase awareness of their thoughts and emotions, and respond to challenges with greater intention rather than reacting automatically. Together, we'll build practical skills to help you feel more grounded, balanced, and connected to yourself.
