I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with the state of Texas in the United States of America. I have training and experience in counseling for over 10 years. I only accept clients who I believe have the capacity to resolve their own problems with assistance. I believe that as people become more accepting of themselves, they are able to heal and grow. Self-awareness and self-acceptance are goals that take time to achieve though. Sometimes this may require more time than you want. If counseling is successful, you should feel that you are able to face life’s challenges without my support or intervention. However, please be aware that neither I nor any counselor can guarantee that counseling will be successful. Your greatest asset in counseling is you; the open, honest... real you. Our first session, we will take time to get to know each other a little, develop a clear picture of what you want from our time together, and determine a gameplan of how to get there. We will not begin "work" until the second session unless I see a need that requires attention sooner. Therapy is not a program or a curriculum here. We use evidence based techniques and theory in step with your journey. Here, people always come before the process.
I am not a "Kum-ba-yah" therapist. I believe in safety and healing through clear boundaries, brutal honesty, overcoming adversity, and unconditional positive regard. All of you is welcome here and required for our work. I help people get the world they want by guiding them to uncharted waters of the mind. I am a natural guide. If this is something of interest to you, then be prepared. It will be difficult. It might cost you everything you can give. I will not abandon you. You will have to take off the masks that you live with and do something different. This might be scary, but you will not be alone. When these ingredients are present, the process has a 100% success rate. I use the kindness of God with the science of professional counseling to provide unmatched therapeutic results.

I have been practicing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy since I got my license.
