Welcome! I'm Jennifer Wotka, a licensed therapist in Missouri for nearly 10 years. The foundations of my therapeutic approach are compassion, empathy, and trust. Seeking help for your mental health takes courage, especially when you are struggling. I work collaboratively with clients and utilize a strengths-based approach to help them address their mental health needs, work towards their goals, and live a more fulfilling, meaningful life. Working together, we will explore your unique circumstances to help you make the changes you are seeking. I work adults as they navigate depression, anxiety, addiction, and difficult life transitions. Combining supportive therapy techniques with evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and more, we will work together to find the approach that best suits you.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

First sessions can be overwhelming. My goal is to meet is meet client where they are every session but especially the first. It is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and work together to identify goals for therapy that will guide our time together in future sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having training in multiple therapeutic modalities allows me tailor my approach to each client. We all have different needs and respond differently to therapeutic interventions. I work together with clients to both identify both goals and the best ways to work towards them.
