New to Grow
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who provides compassionate, practical, and evidence-based therapy for adults experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions, and grief and loss. My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel understood while also gaining tools you can use in your everyday life. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an approach that helps identify patterns between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so you can develop healthier coping strategies, improve mood, and feel more in control. Therapy with me is collaborative, structured when helpful, and always tailored to your individual needs and pace. Many of the clients I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted — whether due to major life changes, relationship challenges, loss, or ongoing stress. Together, we focus on building practical coping skills, increasing emotional awareness, and strengthening resilience so you can move forward with greater confidence and clarity. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, respected, and empowered. My approach is warm, non-judgmental, and solution-focused, while still making space for deeper emotional processing and healing.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, I’ll ask a few questions to understand what’s bringing you to therapy, your current challenges, and what you’re hoping to change or improve. This helps us determine if we’re a good fit to work together. We’ll also begin creating a plan to help you accomplish your goals, which may include learning coping skills, identifying patterns that are keeping you stuck, and developing practical strategies to improve your mood and manage stress. You’ll have space to ask questions and share any concerns along the way. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, supported, and confident about the direction of our work together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I create a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable being open and understood. I balance empathy with practical, goal-oriented guidance, helping clients identify patterns and develop effective coping skills they can use in everyday life. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on helping you make meaningful, lasting changes.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal client is an adult who feels overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, or life stress and is ready for support, guidance, and practical tools to feel better. They may be navigating a major life transition, coping with grief or loss, or struggling with persistent worry, low mood, or emotional exhaustion. Often, they have been trying to manage things on their own for a long time and are looking for relief, clarity, and a path forward. They don’t need to have everything figured out — just a willingness to explore their thoughts, emotions, and patterns with curiosity and openness. Many of my clients appreciate a structured, goal-oriented approach where they can learn coping strategies, understand why they feel the way they do, and build confidence in managing challenges. I work especially well with individuals who want therapy that is both supportive and practical — a space where they feel heard and validated while also gaining concrete skills they can apply in everyday life. Whether someone is feeling stuck, adjusting to change, processing loss, or simply wanting to improve their mental health, I aim to meet them where they are and help them move toward greater stability, resilience, and wellbeing.
