I believe that each individual is unique and will tailor our experience to best fit your needs and preferences. My approach is collaborative. Together we will chart a path to meet your goals. Whether you are experiencing overwhelm, anxiety, depression, life adjustment challenges, trauma responses, relationship, parenting or other challenges, we will work together to move towards peace and balance. I blend numerous evidence-based modalities in an individualized approach and will hold a safe, compassionate space for our work together. In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I see therapy as a partnership. My style is collaborative, and empowering. I will hold space for your journey and provide tools to help you along the way. All clients will be treated with the utmost care and respect. Together, we will identify goals and a plan, creating a pathway to improved well-being. We will identify challenges, find insight, and unstick stuck things. My goal is for clients to leave our time together with greater clarity, confidence, and ability to live to their fullest potential.

I tend to blend modalities to best fit each client's individual needs. Some of the modalities included are listed below.

EMDR

I've been using EMDR for many years. I was trained at JFK University when it was new in the field. I've also kept up on the many innovations and new protocols. I use it for processing all kinds of experiences as well as to help clients develop their inner resources.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

One of the basics of therapy, I have used it, or components, throughout my career.

Narrative

This model allows us to explore your story to help us create a healthy narrative of your experience. I was trained many years ago, and use it as part of my eclectic approach.
