New to Grow
Hi, I’m Amy. I’m glad you’re here. I know reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, and I want you to know you don’t have to do it alone. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where you feel seen, heard, accepted, and never judged. I provide LGBTQIA+-affirming care and have a special passion for supporting older adults as they navigate the changes that come with aging. Whatever brings you to therapy, we’ll work together at a pace that feels right for you.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s completely okay if you’re feeling nervous. Our first session is simply a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been going on in your life, and what you’re hoping to get out of our time together. There’s no pressure to tell me everything at once—we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My hope is that you’ll leave feeling heard, supported, and with a better sense of where we’ll go from here.
I believe one of my greatest strengths is creating a space where people feel comfortable being themselves. Clients can expect to be met with warmth, compassion, and genuine curiosity—not judgment. I’m a good listener, and I take time to understand what’s most important to you. Together, we’ll focus on your strengths, celebrate progress along the way, and work through challenges at a pace that feels right for you.
My ideal client doesn’t have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. If you’re looking for a therapist who will listen without judgment, meet you where you are, and help you move forward at a pace that feels right for you, we’ll likely be a good fit. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, facing challenges that come with aging, or simply looking for a safe, affirming space to be yourself, I’m here to support you with compassion, curiosity, and respect.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are all connected. We’ll explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical tools to help you feel more confident, balanced, and in control.

Strength-Based
It’s easy to lose sight of your strengths during difficult times. Together, we’ll identify what’s already working, build on your resilience, and use those strengths to help you move forward
Person-centered (Rogerian)
