I've been a licensed clinical social worker for 10 years. I have experience in working with adults and teenagers within all levels of care including behavioral health hospitalization, day treatment, and outpatient therapy. I'm passionate about helping those who are struggling with low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, past traumas and relationship issues. I am committed to offering trauma informed care and providing an empathetic, compassionate space where you can be your true self, without criticism.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session we'll explore why you're seeking therapy and what goals you'd like to work on. We'll also talk about what to expect from therapy and address any questions or concerns you might have. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where we can work together towards your healing and growth.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

With 10 years of experience in the field, I have gained valuable insights into the challenges that many people face, and how healing can happen over time. My lived experience also gives me a unique perspective, allowing me to relate to your journey with understanding and empathy. I pride myself on being compassionate, and I want you to feel safe and supported in our work together.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with teens and adults who are struggling with low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, past traumas and relationship issues. These individuals are motivated even if they haven't yet developed the skills for lasting change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT helps us to understand the connection between our thoughts, feelings, and actions. In therapy, we’ll work together to gently shift unhelpful patterns and build tools that support healing, clarity and self-compassion. CBT isn’t “thinking positive” – it’s about thinking more clearly and practicing tools to help you feel more in control, grounded and empowered.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

In therapy I use DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) to help you build real, practical skills for navigating life’s challenges. Together we’ll work together on things like managing big emotions, improving relationships, setting boundaries, and staying grounded and present.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT is all about accepting tough thoughts and feelings without letting them hold you back. Instead of avoiding negative feelings or fighting them, we'll work together to carry these thoughts and emotions with compassion, while still choosing actions that reflect who you are, and what matters most to you.
