Hello and welcome to my practice as a Grow Therapy provider. I am a dual board-certified Family Practice and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based, and Christ-centered mental health care. I blend clinical expertise with biblical principles, recognizing the inherent dignity, worth, and purpose of every individual. My mission is to support emotional healing, spiritual restoration, and renewed hope through integrated psychiatric treatment. With advanced training in psychiatric assessment, psychopharmacology, and trauma-informed psychotherapy, I specialize in mood disorders, grief, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, ADHD, personality disorders, and co-occurring substance use concerns. My clinical approach honors both science and Scripture, guiding patients toward clarity, stability, and wholeness by addressing mind, body, and spirit. I practice from the conviction that mental health treatment should be collaborative, respectful, and grounded in grace. I incorporate prayer when welcomed by the patient, encourage faith-aligned coping strategies, and promote practices such as CBT, mindfulness, meditation on Scripture, gratitude, forgiveness work, and identity-renewing thought patterns. I strive to provide an empathetic, and safe therapeutic environment where patients feel seen, heard, and valued. I partners with individuals and families to build sustainable treatment plans that foster resilience, emotional balance, and spiritual growth. My commitment to excellence includes ongoing study of emerging psychiatric research, integrative care models, and evidence-informed, faith-compatible treatment strategies. Ultimately, I seek to glorify God through my work and to help each patient move toward renewed mental wellness, restored identity, and purposeful living.
Your first session is designed to help you feel understood, supported, and confident about your care plan. As a doctoral-prepared Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I take a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to getting to know you and understanding the full picture of your mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. 1. A Welcoming, Supportive Environment You will be welcomed into a safe, judgment-free space where you can share openly at your own pace. My goal is to build trust from the start, help you feel comfortable, and ensure you feel heard. 2. A Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation Your initial visit includes a structured yet conversational assessment covering: Your main concerns and symptoms Personal, family, and medical history Past treatment experiences Lifestyle factors (sleep, stress, nutrition, routines) Trauma history, if appropriate and you feel ready Strengths, supports, and resilience factors Optional faith/spiritual integration, based on your preference This allows me to understand the full context of your life, not just the symptoms you are experiencing. 3. Diagnosis and Clinical Impressions Based on your evaluation, I will explain any diagnostic considerations clearly and transparently. I believe in collaborative understanding—no surprises, no vague terminology. You will know what I see clinically and why. 4. Personalized Treatment Plan Together, we will discuss a tailored plan that may include: Medication options (if appropriate) Evidence-based psychotherapy Behavioral and lifestyle recommendations Faith-based or Christian-integrated approaches (if desired) Supportive resources, tools, or reading Safety planning when necessary Every element will be explained thoroughly so you understand the purpose and expected benefits. 5. Time for Your Questions You will have dedicated time to ask questions, clarify concerns, and voice your goals. I encourage you to be honest about what you want from treatment so we can structure your care accordingly. 6. Next Steps and Follow-Up Before the session ends, we will outline clear next steps, including: Recommended follow-up schedule Any labs or assessments needed Immediate strategies you can implement Communication expectations and availability You will leave the session with a clear understanding of your treatment direction and what support looks like moving forward.

My ideal client is someone who is ready for meaningful change and values a collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based approach to mental health. They may be navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD, or life transitions, and they are seeking a provider who will listen deeply, offer clear guidance, and create a safe space for healing. They appreciate a whole-person perspective—one that considers emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual well-being—and they want a clinician who honors who they are, how they think, and what they believe. They may or may not desire faith-based integration, and they feel comfortable knowing this option is available without pressure. My ideal client desires transparency, education, and partnership in their care. They value understanding their diagnosis, knowing their treatment options, and being actively involved in decisions about medication, therapy, or lifestyle strategies. They appreciate structure but also warmth, and they want a provider who can balance professionalism with genuine human connection. This client is motivated to grow, willing to explore new insights, and committed to taking steps—big or small—toward better mental health. They may not feel strong when they arrive, but they are open to support and eager for strategies that lead to long-term stability, resilience, and purpose.
