I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, substance abuse and self-esteem. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based practices, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy , Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based interventions.
I work with adults navigating issues such as:
Struggling with Depression
Anxiety and panic disorders
Grief and loss
Relationship and attachment issues
Life transitions (divorce, career change, etc.)
In our work together, I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and empowered. Healing isn’t linear, and I believe therapy should move at your pace. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply seeking deeper self-understanding, I’m here to support you.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, proudly continuing a family legacy of service and commitment to helping others. With over a decade of experience, I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals, home health, outpatient centers, and most recently within a K–12 school system. Throughout my career, I have considered it a true privilege to support individuals during some of their most vulnerable and transformative moments.
I specialize in individual therapy and am now opening my practice to teens. My recent experience as a School Social Worker allowed me to provide direct therapeutic services to students across all grade levels, supporting them through anxiety, depression, academic stress, peer and family challenges, and crisis situations. This chapter feels especially meaningful, as I originally pursued my education with the goal of becoming a School Social Worker. In many ways, this transition represents a full-circle moment in my professional journey. I bring the insight, developmental understanding, and collaborative approach from the school setting into my practice, offering teens and their families compassionate, structured, and informed support.
Tanisha Richardson is devoted to those who want to improve their mental health. She supports and guides individuals who are facing mental anguish. Hi, I’m Joe. I’ve worked in the mental health field for 27 years across substance use treatment, outpatient care, and hospital settings. I’ve supported individuals and families through crisis, transition, and long-term growth.
I work well with young adults, adults, and families who are navigating stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, or major life changes. I also have extensive experience working with men who may struggle to express emotions directly and instead feel stuck in withdrawal, irritability, or self-doubt.
As a veteran, I understand the mindset and pressures that can come with military life. Across all of my work, I aim to provide a grounded, steady presence where honesty, insight, and meaningful change can take place.

I graduated from the University of Gdansk, Poland (B.A. Psychology), and obtained a Master's in professional counseling from Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia. I am licensed to provide professional counseling independently in Arizona, Florida, South Carolina, Virginia, and Texas. I have experience working with individuals from various backgrounds and providing therapy in English and Spanish. Treatment is about finding hope despite the circumstances. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who treats children (ages Zero+), teens, and adults.
Hi! I'm Jen Tucker, a licensed mental health counselor who is passionate about serving others. I'm a military veteran and a military spouse. I'm also a wife, mom, and grandmother. I've been through a lot in my life. Most of you have too. After all, you find yourself here looking for something.
It is my firm belief that each and every one of us has tremendous potential. We all have unique talents and skills, honed and sharpened through our life experiences. These experiences, while crucial to shaping us, can also leave us hurt, confused, numb, or insecure. It is paramount that we stop along our journey to take stock, address our needs, heal, and refocus. Sometimes, we realize we may benefit from having extra support or guidance through these moments. That is where therapy can help.
Throughout my counseling career, I have had the privilege of being able to walk beside clients as they process the past, learn to be comfortable in the present, and get excited for the future. I am certified in trauma and treat clients with a wide range of concerns. Whether you feel ready to dive into therapy, or you are just contemplating the idea, I'd love to hear from you.
I am currently accepting video clients for individual therapy.
If you aren't ready to make contact, I have some resources available for self-reflection. Check out my blog at NotWavingButDrowning.org or my TikTok @MHMinute, where you'll find videos on a variety of mental health topics.
My approach to therapy is eclectic (blending different styles to fit your needs), strengths-based and collaborative. Together, we'll identify your challenges and maximize your strengths to help you live a happier and more satisfying life. I work with adults of all ages who are feeling anxious or overwhelmed, exhausted from masking, dealing with grief/loss, and those going through life transitions.
Hello! I’m so glad you took the first step to make meaningful change in your life. I’d love the opportunity to partner with you and learn about your strengths, struggles, and how we move forward together. I believe we all have the answers to the big questions in our lives, but sometimes we get stuck or need a non-judgmental perspective to help us.
As someone who grew up in a military family and is now a military spouse, I understand the unique lifestyle and challenges that military spouses face. As someone who has experienced grief and the loss of a loved one to cancer and a baby to miscarriage, I can empathize with loss and the waves of despair that grief can bring. I take an eclectic approach to therapy and aim to meet you wherever you are, drawing on your experiences and providing you with tools to help guide you toward your goals.
I'm a queer, trans, and neurodivergent Egyptian therapist experienced in working with LGBTQIA+ adults and adolescents. Although I take immense pride in these labels and in my communities, my therapeutic approach does not expect you to fit yourself neatly into any boxes. Instead, my role is to help you learn how to live in alignment with your specific values and priorities, particularly when it comes to figuring out the gray areas in life.
It's tricky answering questions like, How do you reconnect with your heritage after experiencing it in hurtful ways? How do you heal from childhood trauma while preserving familial relationships that are still important to you? How do you build meaningful friendships and romantic relationships when self-love still feels like an enigma?
These are the types of questions I particularly enjoy exploring with my clients. We will always take the time we need to figure out the concrete skills necessary for navigating daily life (e.g. emotional regulation, communication strategies, adaptive reframes for unhelpful thoughts, etc.), but the next level of growth lives in these nebulous existential questions. By compounding established skills with acceptance, psychological flexibility, and letting go of control where it is not adaptive, we can help you foster the kind of inner peace that adds both serenity and deeper meaning to daily life.
I specialize in supporting adults navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, major life transitions, caregiver responsibilities, chronic illness, grief and loss, aging, and unexpected change.
I bring a combination of clinical expertise, compassion, and real-world experience to my work. My background in hospital settings has given me extensive experience helping individuals and families cope with medical diagnoses, crisis situations, caregiving demands, health-related uncertainty, and significant life changes.
My experience as a military spouse has also shaped my understanding of transition, identity, uncertainty, and starting over. Military life often requires adjusting to change, rebuilding routines, navigating career and family shifts, and finding stability during unfamiliar seasons. That perspective allows me to connect not only with military families, but with anyone facing a major transition, feeling disconnected from who they once were, or trying to create a new sense of direction.
I have seen firsthand how resilient people can be, even during incredibly difficult seasons. These experiences have strengthened my ability to remain calm under pressure, provide compassionate support, and help clients find hope, build resilience, and develop practical strategies to move forward one step at a time.
I’m a warm, down-to-earth counselor who believes therapy should feel like a safe space to be real, be heard, and maybe even laugh a little along the way. No judgment, no pressure—just honest conversations and meaningful work toward feeling more like yourself.
You might be my ideal client if you’re tired of feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like you have to figure everything out on your own. Whether you’re navigating relationships, life changes, anxiety, self-doubt, or simply wondering, “What now?”—you’re welcome here.
Come as you are. We’ll figure it out together.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I bring a thoughtful, straightforward approach to helping adults navigate life’s challenges. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, stress, or major life transitions, I provide a supportive environment where insight and practical change can happen. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build resilience, and create meaningful, sustainable improvements in your life.
Let's reduce feelings of overwhelm, together. I am a Doctor of Social Work, trauma specialized, and clinically licensed in DC, VA, SC, RI and IN as a social worker and substance use disorder therapist serving children, teens, and adults (mandated and non-mandated). We can focus on anger, feelings of hopelessness, overwhelm, panic, grief, always thinking, people pleasing, holding guilt and shame, inability to focus, nightmares, and so many other thoughts, feelings, experiences, and emotions that result from the environment around us. We can really lean into substance use and the agonizing cycle of it all. I am nationally certified in TF-CBT (ages 3-18), and CPT and PE trained for adults with PTSD. Additionally, you can receive mindfulness-based, somatic integration, and a holistic lens to examine your needs via my 11 years’ experience and an additional master's in integrative health coaching plus 20 years’ experience in therapeutic design, so we can look together at social and environmental problem and solution spaces based upon your needs. I've also worked for several years in urban public school systems, so can help students, caregivers, and educators navigating school-based stress. I am culturally humble and honor intersectionality. Thank YOU for reading about how we can partner to increase your feelings of hope and wellness.

Are you experiencing frustration, confusion or turmoil in your life? Even to the point where you see no sense of direction while trying to navigate through life? At times, this can be overwhelming for individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD, including other mental health disorders. Hi! My name is Stephaney and I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with almost a decade of experience in treating adults and adolescents for various mental health challenges and co-occurring diagnoses.
I was inspired to become a therapist by my unique experience migrating to the United States at the age of 13 and attending middle school which was very challenging for me. Culture shock became my reality and one that would eventually lead me to “Severe anxiety.” Even with a very strong family support system, I felt alone and trapped by my own inner fears and self-defeating thoughts. Constant worry and fear of being bullied by my peers became my everyday experience.
Through all these obstacles, I was able to process my feelings and experiences with my faith in Jesus Christ, supportive family, and a few good friends. To this extent, I have come to recognize the benefits of a strong support system and the need for social and relational connection.
As a mental health counselor, I’m privileged to be a part of that support system for many people. I work with my clients to connect the dots between their thoughts, emotions, and actions, all while providing sound strategies to promote healthier thought processes. I believe that every human being deserves a chance to be heard and understood, and therapy has taught me that as human beings, we are more alike than different. So as your therapist, I’m excited to be a listening ear for you and help guide you toward your goals.
Hi and welcome, I'm Mary and I'm a Licensed Social Worker providing virtual psychotherapy services in DC and VA. I'm dedicated to assisting in your journey to find support and encouragement to process life’s challenges. I commend you for your willingness to seek available resources and welcome the opportunity to work together.
During my career, I've had the pleasure of working with individuals and caregivers who have experienced life-changing events as well as daily hardships that include higher levels of anxiety and depression. These experiences have helped me realize that we all can grow, expand our resilience and obtain our goals. With the guidance of a qualified therapist, this process may be a bit smoother.
I'm so glad you are here! Having been in the very same spot you are in seeking therapy, I know how first-hand how hard it can be to take this first step.
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Virginia with 10 years of experience working in clinical practice. I work with clients who experience a wide range of symptoms and concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, and ADHD. I have also worked with many people who have experienced trauma and emotional abuse.

My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and relational therapy. I will tailor our work and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
I specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+ community and seek to provide a safe, affirming space that meets you where you are. I also specialize in animal-assisted and nature-based outdoor therapy and although we'll meet virtually, you'll be surprised how I can help you incorporate this specific kind of healing into our work if that is of interest to you!

My specialties include anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, grief, and adjustments with life changes. I strive to provide an authentic, open space where you feel welcomed, understood, supported, and equipped with skills and resources throughout your healing journey in order to reach your goals.
You already have the tools and skills necessary to thrive in life, but these skills need to be identified and honed in order to be put to use and effective. My approach to psychotherapy is to focus on strengths and build resilience as we address problems of living. Life is hard and together we can be brave. My treatment approach is based in third wave behavioral therapies (mindfulness, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy). My primary focus is holistic care, recognizing and treating the whole person.
I have spent over 15 years working as a mental health provider in the medical setting, dealing with life and death situations that affect my patients and their families. This work has allowed me to be present for the full range of human experience and recognize the strengths that each individual possesses. I have a background in philosophy, which informs my perspective on the challenges that people face and ways to resolve problems. In addition i have specialized experience working with LGBTI+ individuals.
I live in Phoenix and am a licensed psychotherapist in private practice in CA, AZ, and VA.
Welcome! My name is Kate, and I am a licensed clinical psychologist. I value creating a therapeutic space that is warm, respectful, empathic, and validating. I’m deeply committed to supporting individuals and couples as they tackle life’s challenges, with a focus on fostering growth, resilience, and connection. My approach blends expertise with humanity, tailoring interventions to fit your unique needs. As a psychologist, I strive to be your teammate in the healing and growth process, helping you uncover strengths, overcome barriers, and build a life aligned with your values and goals (and maybe even a few laughs along the way).
For over six years, I honed my skills working at several VA systems, where I had the privilege of learning from incredible Veterans and colleagues alike. This included year-long specialty trainings in Prolonged Exposure for PTSD (PE-PTSD), Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD (CPT-PTSD), and the full-throttle, comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT and DBT-PE).
While at my various placements (e.g., UMASS Hahnemann Family Health Center, AUNE Psychological Service Center, multiple VAs, etc.), I worked with majority LGBTQIA+ individuals and developed a passion for working with LGBTQIA+ folx. I served as the Transgender and Gender Diverse Group co-leader for several years, and my caseloads were majority LGBTQIA+, Women Veterans, and Veterans/People of Color.
Along the way, I was awarded the Outstanding Early Career Achievement, served as the MHC Group Psychotherapy Coordinator, and worked as a comprehensive DBT team member at two VA facilities. These experiences didn’t just fill my 'toolbox'—they shaped my deep respect for the strength, complexity, and resilience of the people I’m honored to work with every day.
I view us as the ultimate team! You are the expert of your own life story. I am here to help you rewrite the parts that don't quite fit with the version of yourself you want to be. My philosophical life view is based upon a positive psychological perspective which means I truly believe that one voice can change your day, week, month, future and the world! I have dedicated myself to helping teens, young adults and women become a better version of themselves no matter what life throws at them. I enjoy challenging my clients to think differently and then watching the benefits that occur when they find success. I want to continue to teach courage and confidence by touching and diving into subjects such as overcoming self-doubt, identifying scarcity thinking and toxic surroundings, and unbalanced relationships. By having my clients identify on their own, their own overthinking, unhealthy relationships and perfectionism, together we can create new patterns of thinking that can lead to increased self-efficacy, courage and confidence.

Hi there! I am Stephen Kovacs a licensed clinical social worker with 5 years of experience helping adults who feel constantly “on edge” from anxiety and panic—always braced for the next shoe to drop, even when life looks fine from the outside. I’m licensed as an LISW-CP in South Carolina and an LCSW in North Carolina and Virginia and practice predominantly in the evenings via telehealth.
My focus is on high-responsibility adults who are tired of living in survival mode: racing thoughts, worst‑case scenarios, physical symptoms like a racing heart or tight chest, and the burnout that comes from holding everything together for everyone else. Together, we’ll slow things down, make sense of what anxiety and panic are doing in your body and your life, and build concrete tools to manage spirals, reduce avoidance, and feel more in control day to day—not with fluffy advice, but with step‑by‑step, doable changes.

Hi! I'm Christy, and I'm a Therapist, Hypnotherapist, and an Energy Healer.
I fell in love with the idea of being a therapist in middle school and never wavered from that path. Through schooling and diverse professional experience, I became a Licensed Professional Counselor, a career I've taken seriously and loved for 25 years and counting. I've continued to learn and grow my healing toolkit with hypnotherapy, transpersonal psychology, spirituality, energy healing, somatic expression, and healing of my own personal traumas and experiences so that I can continue to offer more and more opportunities for growth for my clients. I take pride in my ability to relate to clients, listen with a non-judgmental ear, and provide the support and guidance needed for clients to improve their lives. In addition to traditional methods of counseling, I incorporate hypnotherapy, life coaching, empowerment techniques, relaxation and meditation, energy healing, transpersonal and spiritual therapy, and other modern and mystical techniques that challenge clients to grow in their lives. My passion is healing, growing, learning, shining my light, and supporting others to heal, grow, learn, and shine their light as well. Now that you know about me, I look forward to getting to know you too!
As a therapist with six years of experience working with individuals across the lifespan—including children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples—I bring a compassionate and grounded approach to the therapeutic relationship. My work is rooted in the belief that healing begins when we are truly seen and heard. I am passionate about meeting people where they are, creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where growth can take root.
I believe each person holds the wisdom and strength they need within themselves. My role is to help you uncover that inner voice, guide you through life’s challenges, and gently challenge you when needed to become the most authentic and empowered version of yourself. Whether you're seeking clarity, healing, or change, I’m here to walk with you as you navigate your unique journey.

A Safe, Supportive Space to Be Your Authentic Self
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel seen, heard, and respected. My approach is solution-focused, collaborative, and eclectic—drawing from evidence-based modalities including:
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Attachment based, Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Structural Therapy.
I tailor each session to your unique needs, goals, and lived experiences—because no two paths are the same.
**Please note that I provide individual counseling for adults ages 18+. i do not provide couples counseling via telehealth.
Please make note that I am only seeing clients part-time, primarily MWFS mornings and 1-2 evenings a week. I am unable to provide care to those in crisis due to my limited availability outside of scheduled sessions. I ask that you please complete the intake paperwork prior to our first session so that I may accurately assess whether I can effectively meet your needs. Should I determine from your intake paperwork that your needs fall outside of my current scope of practice, I will gladly assist you in the referral process.
I have been providing outpatient therapy to individuals, couples, and families since 2019; prior to that, I worked as an intensive in-home counselor and ABA therapist for ten years while I obtained my master's degree and completed my residency.
As much as I enjoy seeing my clients in person, I have strengthened my ability to provide therapy virtually, applying various resources and maintaining a strong rapport through my non-judgmental and open-minded approach.
I have an extensive background in working with people who have a history of trauma as well as those struggling with grief. I have a strong cognitive behavioral background, but also employ facets of ACT, mindfulness, reality, developmental psychology, solution-focused, grief, and family systems approaches as appropriate to meet the needs of my clients. I strive to understand your unique worldview and adapt my approach to best address your particular circumstances.
I absolutely love the work that I do; empowering my clients to achieve wellness and balance in their lives fulfills me in a way no other career path could. I am just as comfortable having a relaxed conversation about your issues and concerns as I am reviewing psycho-educational materials and assigning homework, if that's what you prefer.

I am passionate about how nutrition impacts mental health, and use multiple therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness- based Stress Management, meditation, and others.
I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that something isn't OK right now. That something might be new, or it might have been around a long time. You might be able to describe it perfectly, or you might just feel off without knowing why. Either way — you're here, and that's the only thing that matters right now.
I start from wherever you are. No assumptions, no judgments, no one-size-fits-all approach. Just a genuine desire to understand you — what's brought you here, what you're carrying, and what you're hoping for.
Therapy with me — whether you're coming alone or with a partner — tends to be honest and occasionally even a little lighthearted. The human experience isn't black and white, and neither is the work we'll do together. What stays consistent is that you'll have a space that belongs to you, where nothing you say or feel changes how I show up for you.
For couples, that space belongs to both of you equally. I don't take sides. What I do is help you see the pattern you're both caught in — because most of the time it's the cycle doing the damage, not each other. When that shifts, something else becomes possible.
No matter what it is you are navigating — depression, relationships, identity, or the gap between how you show up and how you actually feel inside — you don't have to have it figured out to reach out.
My name is Jennifer Bailey, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Drama Therapist. I help clients identify and pursue the goals that lead to a life filled with meaning, pride, and contentment.
Now, you may be wondering: “What exactly is a Registered Drama Therapist (RDT)?” Simply put, it means I integrate elements of theater and creative expression into the therapeutic process. With me, you have options. You might choose a traditional talk-therapy session to explore your thoughts, emotions, and goals. Or, if words don’t feel like enough, you might try something more experiential—writing, movement, role-play, or even reimagining and practicing conversations that keep replaying in your mind.
Talk therapy is a powerful tool for growth, but sometimes it takes more than words to truly process what’s happening inside. That’s where creativity can open new doors. Whether through conversation, movement, sound, or artistic expression, I provide a space where you can choose what feels most healing and helpful.
I would be honored to support you—whether that’s working toward personal goals, processing difficult emotions, or making positive and lasting changes in your life.
Hello Everyone! My name is Lyndal Bedford and I am a licensed clinical social worker. My role is to come alongside you as you discover the peace, hope, and joy of life that you were always meant to have. I work to provide a safe space to process thoughts and emotions that can be overwhelming. If you feel stuck and do not know how to move forward, come talk with me!
My private practice is dedicated to supporting professional adults in Virginia who value a thoughtful, private, and personalized approach to counseling. I understand that even highly capable and successful individuals can experience periods of stress, transition, uncertainty, or simply feel that something in life needs greater attention and balance.
My style is warm, compassionate, and thorough. I take the time to understand you as a whole person—your experiences, responsibilities, relationships, and goals. Our work together is highly individualized, integrating a holistic approach with a concierge-level counseling experience tailored to your unique needs.
My journey in the mental health field has been shaped by diverse professional and cultural experiences, including my own time in Corporate America and living and working overseas. These experiences have given me a meaningful understanding of the unique demands professional adults may face while balancing career, relationships, family responsibilities, life transitions, and personal well-being.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in respected clinical and academic settings, including Yale-NUS College in Singapore, HCA Parham Doctors’ Hospital, WellSpan Philhaven Hospital, and White Mountain Apache Tribal Regional Behavioral Health Services in Arizona. These experiences allow me to bring a thoughtful, culturally informed, and individualized perspective to my work.
I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, eating-related concerns, and relationship or interpersonal challenges. Together, we will develop a personalized approach that reflects your needs, goals, and pace—without pressure or judgment.
I currently offer in-person and Telehealth appointments with convenient self-scheduling. If you are seeking couples counseling, please contact the office before scheduling your first appointment.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy should be a space where you feel supported, understood, and also empowered to make meaningful changes in your life. My approach is warm, direct, practical, and trauma-informed. I enjoy helping clients understand the deeper patterns behind their emotions, relationships, behaviors, and reactions while developing healthier ways to cope, communicate, set boundaries, and move forward.
I work especially well with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, self-worth concerns, people-pleasing, emotional overwhelm, and difficulty establishing healthy boundaries. I believe insight is important, but therapy should also give you tools you can actually use outside of the session.
As a therapist, I am compassionate but straightforward. I will meet you where you are without judgment, while also encouraging you to challenge patterns that may no longer be serving you. My goal is to help you develop a stronger understanding of yourself, trust your own judgment, regulate your emotions more effectively, and create a life and relationships that feel healthier, calmer, and more aligned with who you want to be.

My focus is on creating a safe, supportive space where we can work together to build healthier relationships, manage emotions, and create meaningful change. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, or personal growth, my goal is to empower you with the tools and insights needed to move forward with confidence.”
Why My Experience Changed My Mind About Telehealth
I started my career providing therapy in person. Like many therapists, I believed that some of the most important conversations in therapy needed to happen face-to-face. It was time—and actual experience with my clients—that completely changed my perspective on telehealth. As I began providing therapy through telehealth, I noticed something I hadn’t expected: My clients seemed more relaxed, more open, and more like themselves when they were in their own space. Anxiety would ease. Their bodies would relax. And they began opening up in new ways.
I work with adults, teens, and families navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction and life transitions—whether rooted in the past or unfolding in real time. Some of us carry burdens that others can’t see: early wounds, chronic stress, or invisible grief that’s hard to name, let alone process. Together, we’ll slow things down, make sense of what’s happening, and build practical strategies for feeling better, day by day. My style is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I draw from evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care to name a few—but our work is always tailored to you.
I have provided group, family and individual counseling in hospitals, residential, day treatment, intensive out patient and outpatient settings for behavioral health and addictions. I specialize in overcoming trauma, managing anxiety and working with and through challenges like addiction, depression and PTSD toward a life that works for you.
Clients often tell me they feel both deeply accepted and gently challenged in our work. I’m here to help you reconnect with your own clarity, capacity, and self-compassion—especially if that’s been hard to access in the past. Whether you're feeling stuck or starting over, we can work together to create the change you want, at a pace that feels safe and real.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard and understood. My practice focuses on helping individuals navigate life challenges, emotional distress, relationship concerns, and periods of change while developing healthier coping skills, self love, and greater confidence.
Hi! I'm Wen. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I help adults who are struggling to deal with everyday stressors and burnout. I empathetically listen to what you have to share and want to fully understand your situation before working collaboratively on solutions. I consider myself a direct person and try to break down the concepts that I teach into easily understood ideas.
I’m Janet Worley, LMFT and founder of Worley Wellness Counseling. I work with couples and individuals navigating relationship stress, communication struggles, emotional disconnection, and life transitions. Many of the people I work with care deeply about their relationships but feel stuck in painful patterns that leave them feeling hurt, misunderstood, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, practical, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to be vulnerable, and empowered enough to create meaningful change. Rather than offering judgment or one-size-fits-all advice, I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and challenged toward growth.
A large part of my work focuses on helping people understand the deeper patterns underneath conflict and distress. Whether you find yourself caught in recurring arguments, struggling to communicate, feeling emotionally disconnected, or carrying wounds that continue to impact your relationships, therapy can help bring clarity and create new ways of relating.
I use an integrative approach that blends attachment-focused work, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method interventions, DBT-informed skills, and practical problem-solving strategies. This allows us to explore not only what is happening, but why it is happening and how to begin changing it.
My goal is to help couples and individuals move beyond conflict, disconnection, and unhealthy patterns toward greater understanding, emotional safety, stronger communication, and more fulfilling relationships—with others and with themselves. I believe healing and change are possible, and you do not have to figure it all out alone.
Hello! My name is Jessica and I have been working in the human services and mental health field since 2013, concentrating on therapy for the previous 3 years.
My frameworks for therapy are strengths based and solution focused, with an emphasis on improving confidence, self-worth, and self-esteem for all. I believe in the power of humor, community, and finding a way to be a little more kind to ourselves each day. Previous clients have stated that my therapeutic approach was compassionate with a warm directness when needed.
I received my Bachelor’s from the University of Denver, and during my time there worked in resource advocacy for low income women and also led a self-esteem building group for teenage girls. Earning my degree in Gender Studies laid a foundation for viewing the world through a lens of social justice, structural inequality, and intersectionality. In 2018 I graduated with a Masters in Social Work from VCU. My work since that time has included services for people experiencing homelessness in the Richmond area, hospital discharge coordination, and emergency room psychiatric assessments and crisis intervention for inpatient hospital admission.
When not working, I can be found spending time with my two senior pets, growing hot peppers in the backyard, and enjoying a good book.
As a neurodivergent Black woman living with a chronic illness and mother of three adult children, two of whom identify with the LGBTQ+ commmunity, I am always interested in the deeper question people carry about their lives. Many of the individuals I work with are thoughtful, capable people who have spent years showing up for others, meeting expectations, and doing what seemed like the responsible thing to do. At some point, though, many begin to notice a quiet sense that something no longer fits.
My work centers around helping people slow down enough to understand what is actually happening beneath that feeling. Together we look at the patterns, experiences, and internal narratives that shape how you see yourself and the choices available to you. From that place, people often begin to rediscover a clearer sense of who they are and what direction their lives might take moving forward.
I am especially drawn to working with adults navigating identity shifts, relationship transitions, and moments in life where the path forward is no longer obvious.

For 5 years I have been practicing with this degree as well as practicing therapy techniques previously before receiving my degree. I focus on helping individuals challenge the parts of their life that cause the most distress and becoming empowered in order to continue practicing healthy coping and thought regulation. I value healthy boundaries, prioritize self-care, and encourage clients to build sustainable habits that support their well-being.
I'm looking to partner with you to merge our strengths in order to discern which tools will be most effective in your journey. I have been working with children and their families my entire career. Since 2010, I have worked with children and their families as an intensive in-home counselor, a counselor and supervisor for therapeutic day treatment in the schools, an outpatient therapist and a residential treatment therapist. My Master of Social Work came from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2013. In addition, I have trained others in the ASSIST Living Works Suicide Prevention program in order to break down the avoidance of conversation surrounding suicide. Prior to becoming a therapist, I graduated from Duke Divinity School with a Master of Religious Education, Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity and worked in the church as a minister. While my worldview is Christian and I hope everyone can have a spiritual journey, I am respectful of various views. I look forward to walking with you as you move toward a more meaningful life.

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in North Carolina. I am also licensed in Virginia, Indiana, Colorado, and West Virginia. I completed my Master's Degree in Social Work in 2005 from Eastern Washington University and became licensed in 2015. I use a conversational format with humor mixed in for sessions. Each person is different and your treatment will be developed based on your needs and wants. I am here to guide, support, and encourage you to help meet your goals. I am your therapy cheerleader!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field and 10 years in private practice. As a certified sex therapist through AASECT, I specialize in supporting individuals and couples navigating intimacy, relationship challenges and personal growth. My approach is warm, relational, and grounded in evidence-based practices like Emotionally Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy.
I specialize in working with couples to strengthen their connection, improve communication, and navigate challenges together. I integrate couples therapy with sex therapy to help partners deepen emotional and physical intimacy, address concerns around desire and sexual functioning, and foster a more fulfilling relationship.
I feel it is important to offer clients practical tools and exercises they can use outside of therapy, because real change happens not just in the session, but daily life. These strategies help reinforce what we explore together, support continued growth between sessions, and empower clients to manage challenges as they arise. Whether it's mindfulness practices, communication techniques, journaling prompts, or coping skills, these resources give clients something tangible to hold onto as they build confidence and resilience on their own path.
I view therapy as a collaborative process-an active partnership between client and therapist. We work together to explore challenges, identify goals, and create meaningful changes. While I bring clinical insight and guidance, the client brings their lived experience, wisdom, and willingness to grow.
Life is full of surprises, some pleasant and some not so pleasant. It is in these moments that a little guidance can go along way. Let me be there for you during your challenging moments to help you navigate through them and emerge victoriously. I am a licensed professional counselor with five years of experience including Residency.
Though I use an eclectic approach, the interventions I most commonly use are Cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialectical behavior therapy. One size does not fit all so understanding my clients and applying client specific intervention is very important to me. I am also clinical trauma specialist, trained in Internal family systems and EMDR. I am a firm believer of an individual's spirituality playing a significant role in their healing process. I provide Christian counseling to my clients who need it.

Hi there! Let's sit and chat...
Are you looking for a safe space to explore and organize your thoughts and feelings?
Many people see therapy as a one-sided conversation, with little opportunity for interaction or getting to experience one another as real people. I can assure you our sessions will be as real as it gets!
I want to help you achieve whatever solutions and life changes you are looking for. We'll work on building trust and a sense of safety, using open communication and humor, to identify how we can improve on your already existing coping skills, supports, and knowledge. Although this process may be challenging, we will work to enjoy the process as much as possible, so you can experience yourself, your relationships, and your life in new ways. Simply put, I don't think therapy has to be a painful thing for you. Starting this step can be hard and I would love the opportunity to work with you on this journey.
For Private Pay Clients:
Individual Sessions: $190/hour
Couple/Family Sessions: $230/hour
**All couples and families are seen via private pay. This allows us to focus on the relationships in the room, rather than the diagnosis of an individual.
**For those out of network, should you meet criteria for a diagnosis accepted by insurance companies, I can provide monthly superbills that you may submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. Please note that the payments received by the insurance provider as reimbursement may not cover the full service fee and I cannot guarantee reimbursement.
Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, a new life transition, or struggling to cope with the weight of your problems daily? I can help you find a way forward and offer you the tools to tap into the inner strength that you possess. I believe in approaching therapy from a warm, genuine, and validating perspective and often use humor to help my clients get “unstuck” from unhelpful thinking patterns. My job is to be your mirror to see what is already there: infinite wisdom.
****Only accepting new clients for MORNING & AFTERNOON- no evenings available at this time.****
