New to Grow
I'm Patricia Grullón, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. I specialize in life transitions, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and relationship challenges — bringing a direct, warm, and honest approach to every session. I'm direct, real, and genuinely invested in the people I work with. I ask the hard questions, sit with you in the difficult moments, and help you make sense of what's been keeping you stuck — so you can finally move forward. With training in evidence-based modalities including CBT, Gottman Method, Narrative Therapy, and Structural Family Therapy, I meet you where you are and help you get to where you want to be. I'm here to help you understand yourself more deeply — and move forward with clarity and confidence.
What you can expect from our first session My clients tell me they feel heard, comfortable, and understood — like they can say the hard things out loud. They get the warmth and ease of talking to a close friend, and the confidence of working with someone clinically trained to guide them through it. If you're ready to start — or just curious — I'd love to connect.
A bit about my approach me I bring lived experience to this work. I've navigated my own transitions, relational challenges, and the journey of being an immigrant — and that shapes how I show up for my clients every day. I believe deeply in the healing power of therapy, and I've seen firsthand what's possible when you commit to the process.
My ideal client is navigating a turning point — a relationship crisis, a life transition, a moment where old patterns are no longer working. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or conflict, but what brings them to therapy is a readiness to look honestly at themselves and do something different. I work best with clients who are curious, willing to be challenged, and ready to move — not just talk. Whether you're renegotiating who you are in your relationships, your family, or the world, this is a space where that work gets done.
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients with ADHD, anxiety, and behavioral challenges identify unhelpful thought patterns, build structure, and create sustainable change. Sessions are practical and goal-driven, with tools for tracking progress, managing symptoms, and developing habits that work in real life.
Gottman method
I draw on the Gottman Method to support couples navigating some of the most difficult relational challenges — infidelity, high conflict, and the uncertainty of separation or divorce. This evidence-based approach helps couples rebuild trust, improve communication, and make informed decisions about their relationship's future.
Narrative
Through Narrative Therapy I help clients examine the stories they've been telling themselves — the beliefs and language that keep them stuck. Together we re-author those narratives, developing new perspectives and a stronger sense of identity that reflects who you truly are and who you want to become.
Play Therapy
Play Therapy offers children — and the young at heart — a natural, expressive way to process difficult emotions. Through play, what feels impossible to say finds a voice. It's a safe, creative space where feelings are explored, understood, and transformed without the pressure of words.
Structural Family Therapy
Using Structural Family Therapy I help families examine the dynamics, boundaries, and alliances that keep them divided. By reshaping how the family is organized — who holds power, how roles are defined, and how members connect — we create a healthier structure where everyone can thrive.
