Emily Iorio
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 10 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges. I believe everyone has the capacity to create meaningful change, though sometimes a little support is needed along the way. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on helping clients build confidence, strengthen motivation, and become the person they want to be. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship conflict, parenting concerns, and other everyday struggles. Together, we can identify your strengths, develop practical tools, and work toward lasting growth and improved well-being.

First session
Walking into therapy for the first time isn't easy. I want to change that by offering a genuinely safe space free of judgment. My approach is conversational and fluid, so you can feel completely at ease. Therapy should feel like a weight lifted off your shoulders, even when we're working through the difficult things.
Strengths
I strive to create a safe and warm environment for individuals to feel comfortable exploring every aspect of their thoughts, feelings, behaviors and experience. I believe it is important to work with each person to develop individualized strategies to aid in their journey to become their best version of themselves. I am here to listen and provide feedback and guidance for each person to meet their goals.
Ideal clients
I love working with individuals who are curious about their inner world and ready to work towards meaningful change. If you are motivated to grow, willing to look honestly at what’s holding you back, and looking for a supportive guide to help navigate the way forward, we will be a great fit. Together, we’ll turn deep reflection into real, lasting progress.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. By understanding the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and actions, we’ll build practical, evidence-based tools to manage challenges, reframe negative thinking, and create sustainable, positive change in your daily life.
