New to Grow
I am an eternal optimist with a heartfelt passion for caring for others, something that has been part of who I am for as long as I can remember. I feel deeply honored to walk alongside people as they learn to cope, heal, and reconnect with themselves. Supporting clients in regulating their nervous systems and building effective coping strategies is not just my work, but my greatest joy. I primarily work with children, teens, and families, while also supporting individuals across the lifespan. There is nothing more meaningful to me than witnessing the moment when hope returns and the light begins to shine again after life’s many transitions and challenges. My areas of focus include ADHD, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and oppositional or conduct-related concerns. I approach therapy through a strengths-based, trauma-informed CBT lens, thoughtfully integrating somatic practices to help clients move out of “fight or flight” and into a place of safety, balance, and genuine enjoyment of life.
Our first session is about getting to know you. Your story, your strengths, your challenges, and what has brought you to therapy. There is no pressure to share everything at once. We will move at a pace that feels right for you, and together we'll begin exploring your goals for treatment. I believe every person's journey is unique, which is why I strive to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, you will be met with kindness, compassion, and respect and never judgment. Therapy is a collaborative process. My role is to provide a safe, supportive environment where you can feel heard, build insight, develop healthy coping skills, and move toward the life you want to create. You don't have to have it all figured out before you begin. You simply have to show up, and we'll take the next steps together.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is helping clients bridge the gap between what we discuss in session and how they apply those insights in their everyday lives. I believe therapy is most meaningful when it leads to practical, lasting change, so I focus on providing tools and strategies that are realistic and applicable outside of the therapy room. I strive to create an environment that encourages personal growth while meeting each client where they are. Together, we explore patterns, build on existing strengths, and develop skills that empower clients to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and resilience.
I have experience treating clients across all stages of life. I enjoy someone ready to challenge themselves, someone that can laugh at themselves and be open to growth. I also enjoy working with teens, families and young adults navigating life changes and challenges. Therapy works best when someone is eager and ready for change. Regardless of stage of life, I meet you where you are in yours.
