I’m an Army veteran and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who believes that seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported as you navigate life’s challenges. My clinical work focuses on supporting trauma survivors, military service members, veterans, and military dependents, as well as individuals experiencing grief, anxiety, and ADHD. I also incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy when appropriate to help clients process and heal from distressing or traumatic experiences. My approach is collaborative, person-centered, and trauma-informed. I recognize that every person’s experiences are unique, and I work with you to identify your goals, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools for managing life’s challenges. Whether you are processing trauma, navigating grief or loss, adjusting to a major life transition, managing anxiety or ADHD, or simply feeling overwhelmed, therapy can provide a space to slow down, gain perspective, and move forward.
Strengths
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a safe, genuine, and judgment-free environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves. I understand that healing is not one-size-fits-all. I take the time to understand each client’s unique experiences, strengths, goals, and needs rather than focusing solely on symptoms. I use a collaborative, trauma-informed approach and incorporate evidence-based interventions, including EMDR when appropriate, to help clients process difficult experiences and develop healthier ways of coping. I also recognize the importance of meeting clients where they are. Whether someone is struggling with trauma, grief, anxiety, ADHD, military-related challenges, or a major life transition, I strive to provide practical tools while creating space for deeper healing.
