I am a veteran, mother, and change agent who entered this field with a strong belief in each person’s ability to create meaningful change in their own life. I’ve seen firsthand how insight, support, and the right tools can shift the way people think, feel, and show up for themselves and others. I view therapy as a space for clarity, growth, and real transformation; we're not just talking, but doing the work that leads to lasting change. My approach is integrative and personalized, drawing from evidence-based modalities and adapting them to meet each client’s unique needs.
Your first session is a space for you to be heard and understood. We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what’s been weighing on you, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your experiences, and together we’ll begin identifying goals and a path forward. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out......just come as you are.
My therapeutic approach combines insight, action, and intentional challenge. I help clients better understand their patterns while also gently challenging the thoughts, beliefs, and perspectives that may be keeping them stuck. I support clients in building healthier mindsets, stronger coping skills, and more grounded ways of moving through life.
I am best positioned to serve adolescents ages 12 and older and adults who are ready to better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping them stuck. I work well with clients navigating life transitions, emotional stress, relationship concerns, and a desire for healthier, more grounded ways of coping. I welcome clients of all gender identities, backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of my favorite approaches because it’s practical, empowering, and it helps clients see real change in their day-to-day lives. At its core, I often remind clients that “Your thoughts set the tone, your mind leads, and everything else follows.” The way we think directly impacts how we feel and how we show up in our behaviors.
Attachment-based
I often draw from attachment-based therapy to help clients make sense of relationship patterns, strengthen emotional security, and build healthier connections with themselves and others.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I believe Acceptance and Commitment Therapy helps clients recognize that, even when thoughts and emotions feel overwhelming, they have more control than they think in how they respond, what they choose, and the direction they move their lives.
Faith based therapy
When appropriate, faith-based counseling is incorporated to support clients in leaning on their beliefs as a source of strength, clarity, and resilience.
