Greetings, my name is Soncheray. I am a licensed clinical social worker with more than 10 years of experience. I started Fruitful Life Counseling Services to help individuals understand the "fruit" they bear. How are you showing up in the world-but most of all for yourself! Are you showing up for you at all? You have already taken the first step by searching for someone to talk to; you have started the process-BUT WHAT NOW? I specialize in helping individuals accurately identify what is holding them back. Being able to accurately put words to our emotions is so important in identifying the correct coping strategy. It's no secret that when we feel overwhelmed in one area, we start to feel a sense of powerlessness that transfers into other areas if not addressed. When the transfer happens, we often don't know where the stress or trigger is coming from. Powerlessness can emerge for a number of different reasons. Something triggered these feelings you have. My role in the helping relationship is to help you identify and face your emotions, rather than avoid them. It is time to take your power back, and trust your intuition again. You will never win the race against the thing(s) you're running from. It's time to stop running. Let's get started.
In your first session with me you can expect to gain and understanding of why I chose to serve in this manner. The short version of what motivated me to be a vessel of healing and growth for others. You will be given the space to share your perspective of why you reached out to me, and I will help you prioritize your therapeutic needs. We may or may not create a plan in the first session. Dont be overwhelmed by the word "plan." I simply mean an area or areas to focus on to give you a sense of direction. You will always leave sessions with me feeling better than when you arrived, and will always have something to think about in between sessions.

My biggest strengths are my honesty and my ability to see what you are unable to see. I reframe your confusion and fears in a way for you to understand, and thoughtfully present them. I believe in short term solution-focused therapy! Lastly, I am accountable when I am wrong.
Individuals who are motivated to put the work in to change. If you are not in a space where you apply (at some point) the guidance gained in your sessions then short term therapy is NOT for you.
