I'm committed to empowering my clients to discover and connect with their best selves. My goal is to help people to improve their lives by gaining insight to their problems. Learn new healthier ways of coping, and heal from trauma. I enjoy working with adults seeking help with life stressors. bipolar disorder, anxiety, grief/ loss, Trauma/PTSD, Spirituality, Low self esteem and lack of confidence, social anxiety, in addition to codependency, and women’s issues.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My goal is to help clients feel reassured and hopeful after the first session by explaining what to expect from therapy. The most important aspect of therapy is the team approach. It's important to me to help you feel safe, and develop a relationship of trust and respect.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I'm trained and experienced in EMDR for PTSD or other trauma related issues. My approach is centered on the individual, using evidence based practices, primarily (CBT) Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment therapy (ACT). I believe in a holistic and integrative approach to mental wellness.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My niche is working with persons with PTSD utilizing EMDR therapy methods. I'm a compassionate non judgemental person. I've worked with diverse populations male and female who have histories of childhood sexual abuse. I was honored that they trusted me with very sensitive and painful experiences. I have worked with persons who have severe addiction related to their PTSD.
