I bring a pragmatic and logical approach to therapy, emphasizing balance in personal development. My style focuses on guiding individuals and couples who are committed to healing themselves from the ground up. Together, we can work towards fostering qualities such as confidence without arrogance and resilience without inflexibility. My approach is grounded in humility, recognizing the importance of being a “salt of the earth” in my practice.
I love to work with couples and individual adults, and occasionally I will work with teenagers. I value a collaborative relationship, I am very much a team approach therapist, where energy is mutually invested in the therapeutic process. I am fully trained in a variety of evidence-based therapies, and I love EMDR for individual work and the Gottman's for couples. I have other types of therapies in my toolbox including CBT, DBT, EMDR, somatic therapies, attachment theory, psychodynamic approaches, and motivational interviewing, but if someone is need of more focused CBT or DBT I am not your therapist.
I have over 23 years of experience as a clinician, working mostly in my own private practice. This has given me the freedom to be creative, and find the modalities that are the most effective. I strive to become the best version of myself by exploring new experiences. I've lived overseas as a Peace Corps and Crisis Corps Volunteer. I have lived in several different parts of the U.S. (6 states), I personally love earth based spiritualities and have completed my own Vision Quest in 2023; I was honored with an Eagle Feather in 2024; plus I have extensive yoga, Buddhist, meditation experiences.
My ideal client is someone who values the truth, and a direct, transparent approach to therapy. Someone who wants to get in, fix themselves up and then move on with their lives. This is not going to be a dependent, codependent relationship. I want to see you healed up and fly solo.

This was my first experience with online therapy and Bobbi. I felt safe to share my feelings and Bobbi’s presence was relaxed and relatable. There was a mixture of humor and depth to her approach. I am looking forward to having her guide my therapy sessions.
