About me

I’m a licensed therapist who takes a grounded, relational, and practical approach to the work. I believe therapy should feel supportive, collaborative, and tailored to what you actually need—not a one-size-fits-all experience. My style is warm, direct, and non-judgmental, and I work hard to create a space where you feel understood, validated, and empowered. I use an eclectic blend of CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and experiential techniques to help you make sense of what you’re going through and build the skills to navigate it. Whether we’re challenging unhelpful thought patterns, strengthening coping tools, or exploring deeper emotional or behavioral patterns, we move at a pace that feels safe and meaningful for you. I’ve spent years helping clients manage anxiety, depression, relationship stress, trauma responses, and major life transitions. My goal is to help you untangle what’s getting in the way, reconnect with your strengths, and feel more grounded and confident in your daily life. Therapy with me is a place to grow, heal, and build lasting change—with support every step of the way.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and start where you feel ready—whether that’s sharing your story, talking through what’s been weighing on you, or outlining what you hope to change. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand your history, patterns, and goals, but the pace and direction are always guided by you. You can also expect some light “homework” even in the first session. This might be a simple reflection, a grounding skill to practice, or a small observation task to build awareness. These first steps help us start moving toward clarity and change right away, while keeping things manageable and collaborative.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients often tell me they come for the expertise but stay for the humor, honesty, and real connection. I’m a people-person by nature, and I bring a grounded, human style to therapy—never stiff, never condescending, and definitely not the “stuffy expert” vibe. I use evidence-based methods, but I show up as a relatable, down-to-earth therapist who can laugh with you, challenge you, and help you make sense of your patterns in a way that feels empowering rather than intimidating. My approach is more like a transformational coach meets seasoned clinician: direct when you need clarity, compassionate when things feel heavy, and always focused on helping you create real, lasting change. Clients usually say they feel seen, understood, and genuinely supported—and that our work feels both effective and surprisingly enjoyable.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults who are reflective, open to feedback, and ready to build practical skills for managing anxiety, stress, relationship patterns, and life transitions. My ideal clients are looking for steady, consistent progress rather than crisis-driven or high-intensity care, and they appreciate a therapist who is warm, direct, and focused on problem-solving. I’m a strong fit for clients who value structure, accountability, and evidence-based tools, and who want to understand their patterns so they can respond differently—not repeat the same cycles. If you’re seeking a grounded, collaborative space to grow, gain clarity, and build emotional resilience, we’ll work well together.
