My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and somatic mindfulness to help you explore what’s happening in both your mind and body when stress, triggers, or difficult emotions arise. This approach can be especially helpful if you’ve tried therapy before but still feel stuck in the same emotional or relational patterns. Rather than trying to simply push through symptoms, we work with the wisdom of your mind–body system to understand where these patterns come from. Many of the reactions that show up today—whether emotional activation, mood dysregulation, or relational challenges—developed as ways your system learned to protect you. Together, we gently explore these patterns and begin to unburden the wounds, memories, nervous system responses, or beliefs that may still be shaping your experience. Over time, many people begin to feel less reactive, more regulated, and more connected to their authentic selves.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll talk about what’s been weighing on you and what you’d like to feel different in your life. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard and supported as we explore whether this approach feels like a good fit. I’ll ask a few questions about your history and what’s bringing you to therapy now, and we’ll also talk about steps we can begin working on right away. You are never required to share your entire past or trauma history when we first meet. We can move at the speed of trust and safety. Throughout our work together, we’ll stay attuned to what you’re noticing in your mind and body and approach whatever arises with curiosity and compassion. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and it’s completely normal to feel unsure about where to begin. If this approach resonates with you, you’re welcome to reach out or schedule a session.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Therapy with me is unique because of the way I utilize and combine EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Somatic Mindfulness to help you get to the root of and shift patterns that live in the body.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You may already have a lot of insight about why you feel the way you do, but the patterns still show up in your body or relationships. I help people who feel stuck in trauma responses or nervous system dysregulation—like emotional overwhelm, shutdown, or constant hypervigilance—learn how to safely reconnect with their bodies and shift those patterns. You might feel stuck in patterns you don’t fully understand—like intense emotional reactions, difficulty regulating moods, painful relationship cycles, or grief that still feels close to the surface. At times your body may go into survival mode even when part of you knows you’re safe. Therapy can help you understand these patterns and begin to shift them. I help people who feel caught in trauma responses, emotional overwhelm, grief, or recurring relational patterns get to the root of what’s happening and gently begin to rewire the patterns that live in the body. Together we focus on helping you build more regulation, self-awareness, and presence so you can feel more grounded in your daily life and relationships.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I am trained and certified in EMDR which can be used to treat trauma and can also be used with mood dysregulation, phobias, insomnia, and more. EMDR is a structured and evidence-based treatment which I utilize as a primary treatment if it meets the needs and goals of my client.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I am trained in IFS which can be used to treat any presenting problem and helps clients explore their inner world, resolve internal polarization, and unburden wounds from the past that may be unconsciously impacting present day nervous system regulation and decision making.

Somatic

Somatic mindfulness can help client's increased awareness of how their body experiences safety and distress, how to ground and regulate, and how to work with the mind-body system to restore regulation, presence, and choice in present day life.
